We need to be ready to play 5 vs 8 and Harden needs to step up big time.

And we need some 3s. Time to put in Daniels.

The rockets won't double LMA because they (starting all the way down from management) are stupid enough to make the excuse that they want LMA to shoot those long 2s since it is "inefficient". This is where the statards show how out of touch they are.

TL;DR
If Harden doesn't show up we're going to lose the series.

 

Dwight cant win.

 

For once Barkley is right. Rockets will not win force feeding Howard. Rockets need to play their style of team ball. Harden needs to drive to the hoop and take more threes.

 

When LMA is guarding Dwight, they need to go to Harden and run pick and rolls, b/c Dwight is having problems scoring against him but he easily dominates Lopez.

 

Talk about the shady officials!!!

 

I agree with Kenny.

Howard needs to mix in some pick n rolls with his post ups.

You double a few possessions to get him out of rhythm, then hopes he misses a few shots later on.

The strategy isn't working, Dwight had a monster first half and its a tie game on a Beverly buzzer beater.

 

We need to get a second and third scorers. Harden looks to be finding something, parsons needs to get going. Drive to the basket! Something!

 

We definitely need Harden and Parsons to explode in the 2nd half to win this game.

 

coaching staff and players gotta disagree with the refs louder. Get a tech, make a hard foul , make them reconsider about those weak contacts.

 

I think it's more because everyone else on the Blazers shoot threes. If you double LMA that will leave a shooter open...and the Rockets are terrible at rotation...simply terrible.

If this was a JVG coached team then yeah, they would understand how to double and rotate...but this team? Blazers will get open threes all night long...

 

It may not be our offense, but we scored 53 in the first half. We're on pace for 106 in the game which is less than 2 points below our season average and exactly what the Rockets had in regulation in Game 1. The key to winning is the defense.

Its a damn shame they're barely mentioning LMA.

A real disservice for Portland fans, and NBA fans in general. I'm a Rockets fan, and I love Dwight... but LMA is playing at an all-world level right now, and deserves some mention.
