Actually, there were many facts established in that article and it seems apparent you have only ONE choice...

    1. Ignore all the reasons that foreign relations are bad in order to come to the errant conclusion that Obama is entirely at fault.

By my count Mr. Obama has kept the US out of at least 4 wars. I am very happy with my two votes.

I do not believe Obama is entirely at fault but he should take responsibility and also be held responsible by the people. That is IMO what a leader worthy of the office of president of the United States would do and it is what the people who elected him should expect.

I can only speak to the I in BRICS but the articles posted are ridiculous in respect to India.

Narendra Modi stood by and did nothing while thousands of people died in communal riots. And at the time he openly said provocative things that were interpreted by some as having encouraged the violence.

When the state department denied him a visa, I saw ZERO criticism of the state department's decision from Republicans. There wasn't a peep out of anyone at the time outside of the BJP in India. He was chief minister of Gujarat at a time when a bunch of people killed each other and he chose to stand on the sidelines.

The state department then made the decision to deny him entry to the US as per state department policy on such matters.

Yet almost a decade after this incident in which no one on this forum gave a damn about, the typical conservative heroes that post here have decided to find anything they can to potentially hurl at Obama.

Never mind that Obama didn't make the decision to keep Modi out of the US (since it happened in 2005 when GEORGE BUSH was president). Plus the state department has significant independence from the President. It's all about making any silly criticism you can find without any thought to its accuracy or validity.

I'm not sure what 4 your referring to but I haven't seen anything happen that I thought we should jump into a war over and we haven't so that's good.

The point you should take from this thread is that the author has claimed the international relations with Brics are bad without any real examples of what is bad, why it is bad and what the alternatives should have been. It's an example of political propaganda disguising itself as information when it doesn't actually contain any information or rational discussion at all. We, the pile on boys, just want you to be aware that this is how the politics of obstruction work. Create a false premise, assume an air of authority, assign blame for your falsepremise, get people outraged, all by saying nothing of substance or fact.

It's the typical GOP, FAUX strategy they run all day, every day. It colors the popular opinion polls you cite and artificially deepens the divide of the nation. Which, stymies any progress and reforms the Executive Branch tries to make ensuring the pro-corporate status quo developed by Alan Greenspan and Phil Gramm remains unassailable.

Stymie and obstruct government while the rich get richer.

You do know his approval ratings have started to rise a bit (43 to 44%)? And GWB's approval rating was 36% at this point in his Presidency?

You might actually read the article, there are specific examples for each country within the BRICS cited. Feel free to refute those examples. He also lists real problems Obama has with the Democratic and Republican parties in the US. Most concerning is the last bit, that the American people have tuned him out. Obama is a great orator but nobody is listening.

You can put your head in the sand but Russia is taking over parts of other countries and China is about to start, and neither could care less what the debtor state thinks about it.

And to your last little bit of liberal propaganda/talking point/BS/straw-man/distraction, you can start another thread to discuss what the liberals have done (nothing) to stop the rich getting richer.

    OMG! Obama invading the Philippines!

    Obama hails Philippine military pact

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — President Barack Obama said a 10-year agreement signed Monday to give the U.S military greater access to Philippine bases will help promote regional security, improve armed forces training and shorten response times to humanitarian crises, including natural disasters.
