    I'd be fine w/ them as long as he backs them up, too. Hell, I'll be OK with them as long as we win, no matter what his individual performance is. I just don't see the value in providing Batum & Co. any additional motivation ahead of this game, particularly where we already dropped one at home. Meh.

    lol wtf. Why are these guys giving the blazers more incentive to play harder. i dont like it either. its better to be humble and confident (imo at least). That's just putting a target on your back to get shut down.

    Toronto headlines: raptors are playing dinosaur.

    Paul pierce scores like 9 clutch points in response to win game 1. Granted BKN did lose game 2, but it was not because they were old.

    Batum is the least of the Rockets worries. Keep a hand in his face and live with the results. Parsons could walk to Portland's locker room and slap Batum in his face before the game, and Batum still wouldn't be anything to worry about.

    Pretty much this. People here are worried about bulletin material? What's LMA gonna do? Drop 50 on us?

    The Rockets will handle business tonight. People need to stop panicking so much after 1 loss.

    Anyone else think that harden should guard batum since he's mainly a spot up shooter? That way harden can just face guard/has less defensive responsibilities.

    The Rockets need to stop talking and start playing harder! All we need is Batum to go for career numbers just to "show up" Chandler.

    It's just Chandler's blind spot.

    He shouldn't have said it, but I don't think it's a big deal -- both teams are plenty charged up now.
    He came through in Game 1 (except for the lack of scoring at the end of the game), hope he can maintain his intensity in Game 2.

    The scary part is that Batum is capable of going awwwfffff. I think he just holds back on the offense for the good of the team.

    Maybe Batum will try to do too much to show up CP and take possessions away from LMA and Lillard. I could live with that. I'd rather see Batum try to work on Chandler than LMA or Lillard with the ball.
