And yeah, there's always a way for you to lose the bet. Blake Griffin gets injured. Not so locky anymore.

LOL "true gambler" WTF is that. A gambler is anyone who gambles. I gamble quite a bit and there are a few games every year that I make huge wagers on just because the lines are really off. Those are what I call LOCK bets. Of course it isn't 100% but it's just a figure of speech. Anyway, tomorrow Houston will most likely cover-- we don't have to call it a LOCK if you don't want. But that Mem/Clipper game was as much of a LOCK as there ever has been just because one team was playing to win and the other was playing to lose.. what more do you want?

Well, they are on bovada. Can I give you a number that you can lookup? I don't even know how that works. I'm not that tech savvy.

The print-screen button on your keyboard will take a screenshot. Not sure how to then get that pic onto CF though lol. I'm sure someone here knows.

Clippy, all I'm saying is that I've heard many people utter the word lock to describe a bet and those so-called locks have lost more than they've won. Rockets may cover the spread tomorrow and I might be on them myself, but I'm only willing to bet money from my bankroll that I'm willing to lose. That's why they call it gambling.

Ooooh I get it. Yeah, I don't mean literal LOCK. I use that expression when I mean a bet is too good to pass up. Of course it isn't guaranteed, or else we'd just bet our entire bankroll. I'll only do that if joey is reffing the lakers in a game 7.

Sounds like a pain. Honestly, I don't really care if you believe me or not. It's not really that unusual. I treat gambling like a risky stock market investment where I start with 10K and see what I can do with it. This year I started off very poorly in the NBA but did better later on, but then lost a ton at the end of the season (which is usually the easiest time) and the first day of the playoffs (when I up my bets). But I made a ****load on the NCAA so it covered. I don't think it really matters how much people gamble as long as it is within their means.

Normally I wouldn't question you, but you called some dude a 'wealthy doosh' because he had a courtside seat to a Clippers game, yet you claim to be betting 2K on a single game.

Oh, I am not wealthy by any means. I am just a gambler! The biggest bet I make is $500 at this point. In the reg season it was $300 which was 3% of my starting bankroll, but most bets were $100. On the Clipper game, I had bets on the half and the game and then when they unbelievably had GS as the favorites for the 2nd, I put a big bet down for that too. BUT-- I lost $1000 on the previous Clipper game so it's not really a big win once you factor that in. I don't usually speak in terms of $ but it came up somewhere. I'm not sure why this is so hard to believe-- people have a lot more riding on the stock market every day. This is just more fun for me.

And that guy probably was a wealthy doosh, to be sitting courtside at a road game. I wouldn't do that if I were Mark Zuckerberg.

Print screen the bet transaction or whatever.
    Open Paint.
Paste, like literally, just ctrl v, and save the image file.
Upload Paint image online, like Photobucket, heck even facebook privately.
"Insert Image" - copy the URL.

Takes a minute. Back your smack bro.

since you guys want to talk about wagers and had Kwame questioned me. I'll post my biggest win this past season in the NFL. I bet a lot more in NFL than other sports.

that is a $2400 action reverse to win $9600!

That's great khanhdum, but are you going to post your biggest losers too? Anybody can hit a big parlay every once in a while. I've won over $500 on a throwaway $20 bet before, but you don't see me posting about that in here. All I know from you is that the only two NBA picks you have documented before tipoff have both lost and the one you mentioned after that game was over ended up being a push or loss. I always do my best to provide my picks before tipoff or just after it so that they're documented (see my most recent pick on LAC -8 for game 2 against GState for an example). If people still ask for further proof, I'm also willing to provide pics of my betting slips as I've done countless times in this thread and on SBR.

Anyways, enough about this stuff, my leans for tomorrow are SA -8, Hou -6, and Charlotte +10.5. Any thoughts?

I'm probably only going to bet on one game and reduce my unit size back to one from the three I bet on game 2 when the Clips covered for me.

I don't have a screen shot of it since I don't take screenshot of my biggest losing play lol. I don't have the account anymore since the bookie moved to a new online bookie. My biggest loss was $2200 in the NFL this past season, but overall, I'm probably up like 20+ units since football season. I do wager too much but mehh, it's just entertainment to me and my job is what provides me my income.

yea I noticed it too and i hate posting as it loses quite often it seems lol
    I had Indy -7, Toronto -5 and Chicago -5

looks like I'm going to juice out tonight.

Kwame, I like the HOU line for the reasons I said earlier-- namely that I expect quite a bit of home cooking since the NBA went out of the way to admit they blew the last game. However, I'll backtrack and not call it a LOCK because obviously you have to decide on you own. You may also want to consider taking the 1st half instead (or as well), because I would expect HOU to come out fast and strong. Or you may not want to be it since you are probably very emotionally invested just in the outcome as is. Really depends on how you look at sports.

I'm never emotional when it comes to this stuff, but Houston 1st half might be a good play. The Bulls were in the exact same position as the Rockets tonight. A 4 seed that lost game 1 on it's home floor against a 5 seed and needed to win with a similar spread. The refs also gave the Bulls the benefit of the doubt on a lot of questionable calls and the Wiz shot under 60% from the ft line missing 12 freebies and it still wasn't enough. Obviously the Bulls didn't cover the spread, but lost the game as well. I knew a few people that were on Chicago today because they felt that they would win given the situation and they lost. This is not a repeat of the Clips-GSW game 2. GSW is missing Bogut and LAC has a lot more quality depth and much better coaching than Houston. I think the Rockets covering 6 points is a coin flip at the moment.

I'm looking more at the other two games (SA vs Dal & Mia vs Cats).

Edit: Not much of a totals guy, but under 186 for the Heat game looks enticing.

Alright fellas, I'm on the under 188 for the Heat-Cats game today, Indy -2 tomorrow, and OKC -1 tomorrow (bought half a point). All 1 unit plays for those interested.

Don't feel too strongly about any of these games so you might want to bet against me to make some money, lol. But hey, that's why they call it gambling. Good luck everybody.

I'm gonna pick just for fun since I'm undefeated (0-0) and have no idea what I'm doing.

    Bobcats +10.5
    Mavs +7.5
    Rockets -6.5
