they'll win this one. But it is much harder for the rockets to win at portland than it is for the blazers to win in houston. Game 3 will decide this team's fate.

I agree, though it annoys me that we gave away a surefire win on Sunday and basically MUST win 2 of the next 3, when instead, we could have avoided such pressure. I just haven't been able to get that fact out of my head, so hopefully Wednesday we even things up and the outlook looks better. I'm just still disgusted that we gave away such a likely win. Hope it doesn't cost us...

It does suck but honestly, I prefer these guys go through a challenge before they meet the Spurs.

It's time to figure out who these are and we just get to find out a lot sooner than expected. You really learn a lot about a team when their backs are against the wall after all.

I'm worried about Bev. I think he should rest or play limited minutes.

Rockets have a history of career ending injuries in the playoffs... especially for players playing when already hurt.

He cant contain Lillard anyways, rest him till fully recovered.

Of course, though I guess I'm just on edge because this is our first time to have a capable playoff team in quite a while. I hate to feel any sort of pressure LOL. I'm confident they can pull out a win tomorrow, but I'm nervous about it at the same time.

I don't think everything is riding on Game 3. As I recall, the Heat dropped Game 1 last year at home in the Finals, then won Game 2 and lost Game 3 before winning Game 4 to even the series.

What will decide the Rockets' fate is this weekend in Portland. If they lose both Games 3 and 4(I'm assuming they win Game 2 or else none of this matters), then they're in deep doodoo. They ain't coming back from a 3-1 deficit.

If we can get Harden going with some easy baskets driving to the lane I believe the game will come more naturally to us. Allow him to get some confidence while drawing fouls on LMA and also wearing him down using our offense. With LMA not playing Jordanesque will mean a easy win for the rockets I say 110-98 final score with an even series going to portland.

Can't change the past, you gotta move on and look forward. Don't dwell, especially when stuff like this happens all the time.

You can't deny he's right man. I'm not gonna say Bevs a bad defender but he was getting alive out there. I say put Daniels in let Bev rest cuz right now he can't play defense at an nba level. Not to mention his scoring deficiencies...

Have you notice what the Blazers do that the Rockets don't? They actually adjust their game to beat the Rockets. The beginning of the game they set the tone by purposely acting the Rocket's biggest weakness on defense. And what did the Rockets do? They just continued to play like its still regular season. McHale had no game plan and made no adjustments to exploit the multiple holes in Portland's terrible defense. The offense looked sloppy and the stars didn't come out to play.

This is all fine and good, but the Rockets gameplan did have them up 11, even with the stars not coming to play, with 4 minutes to go. They collapsed, but let's not act like the Rockets were just out-schemed from the get go. That's just not true.
