the real question is, if lin has the flu, how does chandler not have the flu...

if casspi also has the flu, that raises serious questions.

 

Quarantine him.

 

Lin instantly becomes the lethal weapon for us. Imagine Lillard is out with flu, and they only have Mo Williams. I will trade Lin with Lillard any day. Come on Lin, game 2, go all over Lillard.

 

It would have to be a transfer of bodily fluids, either from airborne (sneezing/coughing) or... more creative means.

 

Lin just CANNOT stay healthy in the playoffs.

Come on Jeremy, it's just a virus. You could literally squish it with your fingers. Just take a couple shots of Windex.

 

It's not a matter of whether Lin will play or not, it's a matter of how he will play. Hopefully he can play the same way as game 1. If he does then we have this in the bag, because I don't see Harden shooting that poorly again.

 

Have Lin hack and cough all over the balls that the Trailblazers warm up with. Victory assured, Lin gets the MVP vote.

Game 2

 

Is it weird that I feel that a lot of the things Dwight's been saying after game 1 aren't encouraging to me as a fan?

Dwight you're not Hakeem, it's not a fair comparison. You're a star that could change the course of a game but you can't take over games like Hakeem did... So personally, I do think that you should be worried that you could be down 0-2 & I do feel like you should focus on winning this next game at whatever cost...

Idk man. I like that he's stepping up & realizing that a lot of things need to change, but not thinking about winning too much & believing that he needs to post up more are 2 things I have no confidence in.

 

I'm hella nervous for tomorrow.

 

Incidentally, this is also a good description of the Rockets offense.

 

I look at this way, if the Rockets can't "at least" split the two home games, well, then they are not who we thought they were. However, Portland still has to win two more. As most of the teams in the playoffs have already found out, it is really tough to advance. I just don't think LMA can score 40+ every game. The bottom-line is that the "best team is going forward." I can live with that. If it were one game series, then it becomes a big mix of luck, skill, calls, and bounces

So Harden is being defended by Matthews, and Lin is being defended by Batum .... so that means Parsons has the much smaller Lillard on him.

Did we even once try to post up Parsons on Lillard ? .... he has like 6-7 inches on him.

 

or have him rub his snot all over the blazers locker room, players, and coaches.
