ClutchFans Game Thread: Blazers @ Rockets 4/23/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 2)

I predict we lose this game 112 to 101. I wish I was more optimistic but I just don't see the correct mentality from anyone but Bev.

We don't have the coaching of Doc Rivers or the leadership of Chris Paul to come out and respond like the Clippers did last night in GSW.

Howard thinks he needs to post up more? How about rebounding? How about demanding the matchup with LMA.

Harden looked like he had taken a few days to club. You think he would have been taking the battle to the defense.

 

I don't want to get all woe-is-me, but it seems like we can NEVER get on a roll. I am sincerely praying for good health overall, but especially for Lin and Bev. Canaan seems like a nice kid, but he REALLY need not be our first/only PG option in the playoffs.

 

It's the flu. I'm sure he'll be fine.

man, i know it's beaten to death, but it would be cool to see troy get some minutes

whatever points he could give us right off the bat would be awesome. this would really stretch the floor out

 

I also need everybody else to be wearing whatever kind of protective gear they can get their hands on. Didn't it start before w/ Cisco having the flu and then 4-5 other people catching it over the course of a day or 2?

 

This just sucks, we have to sacrifice a small goat to the Health Gods or something...at this point, after such an emotional game 1, I bet even the fans are day to day LOL

Good lord, it's like the Rockets can't get a break this year.

Injuries to Harden, Parsons, Lin, Beverley, Asik... flu with half the team. Now you have Beverley and his knee, and now the flu is hitting Lin?

They better keep Lin FAR away from the players. The LAST thing we need is another bout of the flu going through the locker room in the play offs.

 

Lin is just weak. He's gonna have a piss poor game. Beverley on the other hand is going to go for 20 revenge pts.

This is pretty upsetting, for once Lin just stay healthy for a playoff run. You have one *****ing job, keep your body healthy so you can play at your best in the playoffs. Wash your hands before you eat, sanitize your apartment, or stay away from dirty people.

He better be getting round the clock flu treatment, might as well try intravenous with dothraki blood or something

That LMAO three over Dwight is like a nightmare that wont go away.

 

I swear it's like Lin is allergic to the playoffs. I'm a Lin critic but I thought he played pretty well for the most part. I thought he was key in getting the Rockets back after that slow 1st quarter.
