Maybe I should clarify what I meant by game-changing QB. With that QB, team is a Super Bowl contender. Without him, team is average or worse. Current Game Changing QBs: P. Manning A. Rodgers T. Brady D. Brees What about Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson? Seattle a la 2001 Ravens, doesn't need a game changing QB to win. They would still be in the Super Bowl discussion with a good QB. The Texans have the best defensive player in the league and still went 2-14. They need a game-changer in order to compete for a Super Bowl. Imagine last year's Texans with Manning (and a right tackle). With Bridgewater, I see most likely middle of the road to top 10 QB. Manziel could develop to top 5 or flame out, but could also end-up middle of the road. If you want to win Super Bowls, you have to take risks.
So you cant be a game changer, yet be a field general too? Interesting. Didnt realize you cant be a field general if you're able to break off some nice runs. If calling a QB "game changing" only if he can make a 70 yard run...then quite frankly, thats a weird definition. Aaron Rodgers is a game changing QB...he doesnt break off 70 yard runs, but he hits 20-30 yards consistently...and he's more of a game changing QB than RGIII and Cam combined.
1. Do you know why those qbs are so impactful for their teams? All these qbs have TREMENDOUS, borderline GENIUS level understanding of opposing defenses and how to maximize their offenses capabilities against them Their timing and anticipation are impeccable. They all have poise under pressure (forget Manning against the Hawks) 2. Bridgewater is the only qb in this class that demonstrates that level of understanding of opposing defenses, has great timing and anticipation and has a ELITE POISE. Thats a true "game changing" qb. Get off the Youtube highlights and stop being an Aggie homer and look at games objectively

Luck for sure. But after watching Luck he was clearly overrated. Not saying he hasn't been good. Just saying he hasn't been great and he is not as cool under pressure as anticipated. Plus his improvement from 1st to second year isn't great. I think this is a product of Luck being so polished coming in. He had the mentoring growing up that only a Manning could have got so he was polished coming in. Which translated to instant success but doesn't translate to upside. That's where Bridgewater differs. He has more upside and he starts off with footwork Luck will never have. Still knowing what you know now about Luck you got to take him even now. A bird in the hand is better than a Bridgewater in the bush.

What da hell do you mean by throw for 70 and run for 70 all in one play... That's ridiculous...Lol... And I don't remember Cam ever having a 70 yard run (but maybe he has).. And how dare you not include Steve McNair... And Houston's own VY... Johnny falls in the mold you speak of though.
Just that, players who have that type of ability to make big plays with their legs as well as throw with their arm. Cam had 72 yarder against the falcons, one of the greatest runs I have ever seen at the professional level McNair is up there of course but he developed tremendously as a qb, more of pocket passer with mobility in his prime VY was garbage and mentally weak on top of it. Yes he had that type of potential If Johnny plays like Cam, Young, Vick, RG3 He will have his head taken off I don't want to see him play like that, If his game was more like Bridgewater's I would be a much bigger fan
