Seems like a lot of legal issues in this and although I can understand companies feeling the need to do something to help stop silly lawsuits by consumers, this is a bit much.

    Especially the bold part here

I'll probably live my entire life without ever suing a company, and so will most of us here.

    btw: misleading OP title.

let's hope so (*knock on wood*) otherwise it's going to arbitration and you have no rights because you agreed to it with or without your own agreement. fine print and all.. terms of service sucka

How is it misleading though breh?
It's mentioned in the article that liking a brands facebook page might void the right of the consumer to sue.

Plus, I just used the Yahoo title but changed a word.

Too bad. I was kinda curious to see that come up in litigation and see what courts had to say about it.

So...then the only people who can sue are those who steal their products or receive it as a gift/donation?

Not sure about the enforcability of it with regards to sweepstakes, but this wouldn't even work with Facebook - it would be laughed out of court. If you "Like" their page on Facebook, you're not agreeing to any terms and conditions, regardless of what they say on a completely separate website that you may or may not have ever seen.
