You're being called out on your COMPREHENSION skills. And you are deflecting it same way as you accused them of.
The original wording was "almost single-handedly". The word "almost" was deliberately omitted to creat the argument.
Lin played great, why hate on him? If the rest of the team stepped up like Lin, we would have won. I hope he keeps it up!! And the team comes up to his level! Go Rox! Win it all!
Even though Beverley can play, McHale should look into starting Lin. Even though it's not as viral, Lillard's defense is pretty much on par with Harden's. But the difference is one coach is willing to exploit it while the other keeps the one player that can exploit Lillard's D the most is on the bench the majority of the first quarter. On top of that Beverley's minutes really need to be reduced if we have any hopes of him staying healthy enough to endure a postseason.
it is my sincere hope that these playoffs will unite all fans, rockets fans, lof, loh etc....we all want to see the rockets make a deep playoff run
That would be called thinking outside the box. Something Mchale and crew will not do unless Bev is limping badly.
This, the way Beverley's playing, he won't walk out of the series without blowing his knees out completely. Lin has shown he has the ability to carry the team, I honestly don't think he plays that bad of defense on Lillard either.
Will a HOF have the perspective to make a change that goes against his core beliefs and put the player that he does not trust completely into a spot in the starting line up? It's pretty clear McHale does not trust Lin - takes away his starter role, gives him shortest leash, puts Parsons on his man. But I think Lin is the one xfactor that can help the Rox pull this series out. Bev is what he is, but he will not add a lot more with his injury which takes away his lateral quickness. Bev should come off the bench for 20 min, and let Lin play more minutes. McHale needs to attack Portland's worst defender just like how they are attacking our worst defender.
Hyperbole at its finest. Too bad the morons such as FTW Rockets FTW are too much a chicken to call you a LOF because you have been a member since 2001. LOL
sure he has YAO MING status but his personality sure resembles that of Royce White, king of b****ing and illogical arguments
You're also displaying a type of selection bias it seems. Lin was rarely assigned to guard Lillard and Lillard only scored 6 points on Lin. So to say he as getting "blown past" is a gross exaggeration. Lin's main assignment was Williams and he as 1-6 against Lin. And I want to make clear that I do believe Bev is a good defender. But to attribute Lillard's scoring prowess to Lin's defense is ridiculous.
LOaFers and I have little in common. I'm just saying Lin had a good game. He almost did enough to help us win the game. In fact, without him, I don't think we're in the game at all. I started the thread because my biggest knock on Lin has been his playoff absence/poor performance. I have seen enough to know he has the ability to go to a higher level when it matters most. I've never seen that before this game.
Yes, it's actually exactly like that. He's going to be a self-hating poster? Dang, you smacked him down. Need to remember to never get on your bad side And let ignorance keep breeding? I'm glad he made that post to point out the hypocrisy in some of the "fans" here. Also, why does krnxsnoopy need to put others on ignore? Why can't they just put him on ignore then and move on?
