I said the grizzlies would steal at least two games to please the casual fans in memphis. That poor city has the most fair-weather fans and fans who cant afford to attend the games.

Memphis loves to smash, guess what this is the playoffs. Okc will adjust and make them, no dare them to shoot. Then memphis misses and okc kills them in transition.

This is true. We are weakest everywhere memphis is strongest.

I mean the blazers. The blazers are literally built to dismantle the rockets.

So? When Griffin's on the floor, the Warriors are overmatched badly, including game 1.

They're just very similar. All offense, no defense. Good inside-out combo. Depends on the 3s.

the rockets are just untested. that is all. the grizzlies are a team with a chip on their shoulder. everybody said last year that the grizzlies run to the wcf was a fluke. i think they took that personally. at no point in game 2 were the thunder the better team.

I'll be stunned if the Thunder don't win the series (barring injuries), but it could very easily go 6 or 7. Major props to Memphis if they pull it out, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Couldn't be further from the truth....

A healthy Rockets squad brings defense out top with Beverley who neutralizes one of Portland's two weapons. LMA can score 45 and get 20
boards, but that's it.(and it's not going down again wed.) Again, Lillard didn't go off against Bev. (whose health is key)
A healthy Dwight (unburdened by foul trouble) rips up that sorry excuse for a 5 the Blazers tote around and James Harden will not have another game like that in the playoffs.

Also don't forget Asik and the TT. Against other teams, no...but against the Blazers...it works. Don't look for the zebras help now.
...Asik will be on the court and have a big impact.

Overall the matchups favor us....Howard, Harden, and Wolverine at 85-90% mean a blowout Wednesday.

I agree with your post, but who is "the TT?"

Memphis plz win Memphis plz win, I can't wait for OKC fans to somehow blame the series loss on Beverley lmao and still maintain that they didn't get robbed in the trade for Harden

Westbrook's dunk with 3:20 in the 4th was the fastest I have ever seen an NBA player move.

Just wanted to pop in and say that was a fantastic game. Wow. Best game of the playoffs. Will be very tough to top.

I just love the Grizzlies desire and never say die attitude. Almost every other team would have lost in OT after that Durant shot and PERKINS put back. Incredible job by Z-Bo in OT.

It really was one of the great playoff games from the fan standpoint. Lots of drama. Extremely entertaining. Psychologically, OKC has to be pretty bummed out after hitting Memphis so hard so many times and watch them bounce back again and again. Not sure OKC can play any harder, with any more emotion. The best series in the first round is between Portland-Houston and/or OKC-Memphis. I think both are going seven.

No way that should have been a four-point play for Durant. There was no foul. He was simply falling out of bounds. Not pushed. That almost changed the outcome of the game. So ridiculous.

I am stoked for this one tonight. Cheering like crazy for the Grizzlies. I despise OKC, mainly because of Fisher and Westbrook. Grizz are tough at home, very tough.

The Rockets are killing my excitement for the playoffs, but this should be a good one.
