Beverly has heart and I truly believe when Lin knows that.

 

Game 1 Thoughts:
Must double team Aldridge and make them beat you with the 3... because he's gonna be automatic and/or get our bigs in foul trouble.
Howard can take Lopez, just gotta hope the refs don't screw him and put him on the bench like tonight.
Can't give up double digit leads in the 4th quarter by not playing half court basketball and running the clock. We took so many 3s tonight with over 18 seconds left on the damn shot clock when we had the lead in the 4th! That's terrible coaching for not letting the players know.
Harden needs to man up and stay aggressive. He can get to the hoop any time, but he chooses to shoot jumpers a lot. Look at the rewards Lillard got by going to the hoop! So many And 1s with these whistle happy refs.
Lin needs to keep on driving to the hoop and either go for the layup or lob it up to Howard or TJones for an easy dunk.
Parsons is the complete x factor... totally disappeared in the 2nd half wow.
Lillard and Aldridge are better than our 2 stars IMO. They're just better all-around players inside and out.

 

Getting rid of mchale is not as important a getting shooters who can space the floor for harden and dwight. Make teams pay for clogging the paint. Shooters who can shoot off the screen/dribble.

James choked, lin was wide open for the win. Always KNOW WHERE YOUR TEAMMATES SPOTS ARE!

 

No way LA keeps hitting some of those ridiculous shots, Harden will step up

The Aldridge foul was legitimate and Lopez was a foul on Lillard and Lopez sucks so who gives a damn. The foul on Dwight was 100% wrong and would have given Dwight 2 FTs to tie the game or give the Rockets the lead. Comprende?

 

Right. The world revolves around the Rockets. It's a conspiracy by everyone to get us.

BTW, hack-a-Howard worked.

 

Charles: They can't play perimeter defense. Guards will love to play against those guards. A great defender can make you word hard but can't stop a great player.

Jones can work as hard as he wants. For LaMarcus, it's shooting over a chair. It's BBQ chicken, as Shaq would say.

Just a reminder. This was game 1. Everyone needs to calm down. damn.

 

But on the flip side, the Rockets were rolling after the poor first quarter and built up a 13-point lead in the 4th and were up 11 with 4 minutes and change left and p-ssed it away and lost the game(along with HCA). I don't think Aldridge can possibly keep this up all series long, but at the same time, he doesn't have to if anyone other than him or Lillard manages to step up.

 

I think Houston need to stop playing small down the stretch and missing out on critical rebounds. Put Asik on Aldridge down the stretch. All in all, good game by both teams. They just need to find a way to contain Aldridge and utilize Asik better.

What I don't get is why they stopped doing PNR. They were lethal doing it.

realistically speaking, i dont see how bev would be back in this series anymore after learning he hurt the same knee again :\

 

Im trying to figure out why do all the Houston sports teams suck ass when the have chance to do somthin big its so hard rooting for teams in this city im a keep rooting for them but i dont trust them to win this series anymore i trusted them to win at home and couldnt lol

 

With 3 of them in portland. If we lose game three it is over.

 

was it mcfail a fault the team couldn't get a rebound the last possession of the game?
