Whatever you plan on betting, bet 4x that. Easy money. No way lac goes down 2-0 and if the spread is anywhere near that then the clippers will cover it.

I thought they called the game "touchy". That was obviously how they decided to go from the beginning, and maybe was influenced by players talking trash in the media throughout the week. I thought it was called evenly for both sides, but would have liked to see a little more physical play allowed in the playoffs. I'm not saying it was well-reffed game.

Haha, its true. Cp3 isn't the star of the Clippers team. Griffin is. He was in foul trouble and they cldnt overcome him barely playing any minutes. Need to get into a groove to be effective. I expect Clippers to take it in 5, 6 tops while making sire Blake plays at least 35 min.

There is zero reason for him to have so many fouls(which some were really bad)...Blake's foul trouble was a bigger impact for the game than Iggy's considering how valuable Griffin is to the Clippers.

If you want a reason why the Clippers lost, this is why.

Blake played 19 minutes and Deandre had a good game offensively but he still allowed Jermaine O'neal to have a good game and Deandre had 7 turnovers somehow.

With that said CP3 definitely choked down the stretch.

Yep, I think the history of these two teams put the refs in defensive mode and they decided that they were going to keep this game in check.

So now people will complain about the amount of fouls and game two they will call nothing

Yeah I've never really understood why leagues won't let the whole play get reviewed in those situations. Football does the same stuff when it comes to clear pass interference calls but you can only review whether or not the guy was inbounds.

Chris Paul is very very very good but I'm happy people are finally starting to call him out about not having playoff success. Let's be honest, the Warriors barely won with Blake Griffin being in foul trouble the entire game. There's no way that's happening again. Expect a blowout Clipper win next game.

Eliminating DQs via fouling out won't eliminate foul strategy. In fact, it'll make it more interesting. As a coach, do you keep your guy in with 6+ fouls knowing that if he draws another one, the other team gets the ball plus a free throw?

Don't care for Skip Bayless but I kind of agree with him on this one. CP3 is routinely ranked as the 3rd best player in the league, but his teams have routinely come up short in the playoffs. I agree that superstars are made in the playoffs. CP3 is a hell of a player, but if he comes up short again these playoffs, people need to stop putting him so high on these player rankings.

Fine, if they are going to call it touchy, then where the **** was the foul on the most critical possession in the game when CP3 apparently just threw the ball out of bounds on his own????

You think Blake Griffin is the star of the team and not CP3?

I mean they both are star players right now

I was speaking of a hypothetical series loss. Not just this game. And if the Clippers can't take advantage of arguably the best perimeter defender fouling out in the NBA, then what does that say about their team?

It will be interesting how they decide to ref the next game. One thing is certain, the refs are capable of setting the tone of the game by how they call it.

See this is why the 4th seed is much better than the 3rd seed. We avoid playing the dangerous and unpredictable Warriors and the MVP lead Thunder. Our path to the Conference Finals is much easier.

Well it's not like GS played great today. Steph Curry did not go off.
