This team could sure use a comeback victory.

Yikes... One of the more frustrating games I've been to.

For me, speaking of this game, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't at the hands of KC and for the sweep in the series.

This is the bottom of the bottom of situations to be hapless in.

Shields dominating like they're a double A lineup.

Yep lol. They are who we thought they were.

Still happy to see the home team though.

    But those batting average ...

    Actually, I thought they were a .230 - .240 team at batting. Not .180

It is amazing to me how many times these guys take fast balls down the middle for called strike 3.

That being said, there were a couple of horrible strike 3 calls during Shields late inning K stream. In particular the one to Krauss (although if it were called a ball, it would have simply delayed the inevitable).

Is Morgan Ensberg still with the organization?

Yes he is. Here is an interesting tidbit about Ensberg:

"Ensberg is the only MLB player in history to have won championship rings in College (USC '98), Rookie league (Auburn '98), Single A (Kissimmee '99), AA (Round Rock '00), AAA (New Orleans '01) to have played in a World Series (2005, Houston Astros)."

And, once again, Porter publically calls out someone other than Altuve for a base running blunder. This time it's Dominguez.
