It sucks when a good idea is ruined by being over produced and a bunch of actors being asked to overplay things. And yes, I know, I just described 95% of television these days.
Seems extremely fake to see those kids whine and be so lazy. Either they're spoiled rich kids or very good actors getting paid well to act like little b****es. Unless they are assholes from Kazakhstan. They cannot afford. VERY NICE.
Like many other "extreme" Youtube videos, it's obvious that this video is staged and played-up for shock value and attention. And it's often an effective tactic. In reality, your typical 10-15 year old who has never seen or used a Walkman before can figure out pretty easily how to use it. For the most part, Walkmans are intuitive, and the symbols they use for various actions are still widely used today in iPods, etc. Same with the headphone jack.
