Really excited for the playoffs, good decision to give Lin the night off, he's an enormously valuable piece to the playoff run and has had a good 5-6 games to close the season...

As well, all LOH should keep their mouths shut and take the entire playoffs off...the energy around the team will be much better!

Consider how Jeremy always injury prone, it's no surprise McHale sit him. Jeremy play good against blazers and the spurs. So they will need him.

I hardly see torocan start a thread that does not include stat. Maybe he has some conspiracy already formulated... or his account has been hijacked?

    hahahahah, fair enough.

I think if he shoots the three ball well tonight, that he will get a chance in the playoffs.

Lin's been slightly banged up. No point in playing him

Give the Bev and Dwight very limited minutes. Asik too.

Let the rest set a record for chucking.

Let's give twin towers a go tonight since we'll probably have to utilize it a few times in the playoffs. Maybe a happy Asik = working twin towers

Forgot which game (last or the one before), but Lin injured his wrist. Minor though cause he continued to play.

Lin's been on the bike in game and with an ice pack on his back since all-star break.

    Bev should sit.

McHale should whip out the Twin Towers now just to freak out Portland. You know what? Turn Dwight into a stretch four and have him try some 3s. Also, who remembers Asik's random jump shot last game? Yea...do it Asik. DO IT.

Lin is a warrior. He kept playing without even mentioning the injuries. But in reality it's probably better to rest rather than underperforming or aggravating injuries before playoff.

Bev and Howard should be sitting too.

What if resting Lin shows Lin that the coaching staff has confidence in Lin and that they think he is confident enough in himself and that he doesn't need to play himself into a confident mindset? Maybe that gives Lin confidence...

I wish Beverley would rest. Take some time to heal that meniscus before the playoffs. I'm glad Parsons is getting a rest, though we really should have rested him a lot more. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance.

Hopefully Howard and Beverley play 20 minutes tops.

I wouldda let Lin play, tell him he's option #1 and let him do what he wants. Raise his confidence before the playoffs.

Not surprised Lin is sitting out of this one. He looks to have been injured or something the pass few weeks. He just didn't have that quickness he usually has when attacking the basket. I would have liked for him and our bench to play a lot, hiring to get a rhythm top down. Other bench guys must step up!
