Traveling for work today and stopped for lunch in the airport in Houston. I happened to look up and Morey was standing right in front of my table (presumably, waiting for his food). Thought about trying to sneak a photo, but then I decided to just (wo)man up and go talk to him. I told him how much I appreciate what he's done for this organization... he thanked me and said he was very excited for the playoffs. Said he thinks we have a good chance against Portland b/c they don't have anyone who can guard Harden. I asked if there was any chance we'd see TT in that series, and he said they were considering it in small doses. Told him I liked the idea of Asik on LMA and Dwight on Lopez, and he agreed it was one of the few matchups earlier in the season where TT worked in limited minutes. Of course I posted this on twitter, but I wasn't expecting a reply or a follow! Well there was really no way to approach him without seeming like a creeper. I didn't know what to say, so I was just like, "Daryl Morey" and kind of stared at him. LOLOL.

Does Clutch know Morey's moniker? It would be funny if Morey ever trashes his players on here when they play bad. Morey is always on his phone during the games. He must be posting on clutchfans! It is the only thing that makes sense.
OP is becoming a celebrity in front of our very eyes. The photo op with Pat, then the appearance on the baseline pre-game, now rubbing elbows with Morey over lunch. Queue the insider moniker!
