Blake 8-0 Teddy 7-1 Blake is projected to go in the top 10 and Teddy looks like he's going to fall to the back of the 1st and or out of the 1st round all together. But yea... I'm the one grasping. Lol...
Your rich ahahahahahaahahah Media says Teddy will fall so of course Teddy will fall. After all Teams model their big boards after what they hear in the media bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Actually I never thought Teddy was a #1 overall pick (or even a first round pick). I didn't need the media to tell me that. As far as I'm concerned the media is just catching up to the opinion I already had.
1.The reason I brought it up was to explain why I mention the lack of competition Bridgewater faced more so than Bortles. Most people have somewhat grounded expectations of Bortles so it's not necessary. 2.When I say he "bombed the combine" I mean that he did poorly on the wonderlic, had a somewhat slow 3 cone drill, and didn't impress people in interviews. It was pretty much nothing but bad news for him. I also mention it because he tried to fool people into thinking that he is bigger than he really is and it backfired. 3. His hands are still small even though he is just above 9 inches which is the cutoff. If you have to be at least 5'4 to ride a carnival ride, and you measure in at 5'4 1/8 you are still short even though you aren't technically "too short". 4. None of these QB's are worthy of the top pick.
What holds comfort to me is that fact you thought/think Manziel or Bortles do. Lets me know to bet on the opposite being true
You've crossed over into the so full of shiit zone. They only have 7 teams in common and they both won all 7. ANd Teddy outperformed Bortles in almost all of those games with the worst offensive line and a poorer running game. If you want to take a look at one of those watch Bortles suck up the field against Southern Florida on anything past one progression. Bortles reads one side of the field only against a mediocre defense and still has trouble. His accuracy drops off tremendously when he has to do more than one read. If you watched film closer you would see that. Teddy blows away Bortles statline. TB picks apart that defense and the stats don't even tell the true story. Bortles is not in TB's league when it comes to footwork, progressions and handling pressure. Is that what you want a 1 progression read QB. Oh by the way I'll guarantee TB gets drafted before Bortles. most NFL decision makers aren't as stupid as you.
I think you are setting yourself up for failure there, I don't know that Teddy falls to the 2nd round, but there's a good chance that Manziel, Bortles, AND Carr all go before him. Failing at everything and looking terrible in the lead up to the draft has really killed his stock despite looking good against Eastern Kentucky.
Food for thought.

Been asked why I see Bridgewater falling. This is it -- Hard to place him. I know a few teams that like him. I'm a Baylor grad....Baylor's defense was piss poor that game. They could not tackle to save their lives, especially in the open field.
Bobbybegreat, get a clue lol You think teams are going to tell ALBERT BREER that they love a prospect? Especially in a qb class as convoluted as this one, why risk showing your hand?
Look, I know your position, you think that Teddy Bridgewater will be the first QB inducted into the HOF after his rookie season and nothing will convince you otherwise. However, you should realize that basically no one else on the planet has that view. Try to consider the possibility that people really don't think that a guy who has bombed pretty much everything leading up to the draft is a top prospect and Joe Montana clone (only better in every way obviously).
Yea I like Johnny, but much of my faith about him is simply from a fan's point of view (fan goggles). So if you say he'll fall to the 2nd or 3rd round I wouldn't argue with you because the dude is 5'11. There are plenty of legitimate arguments that can be made on why Johnny may not be drafted in the 1st round. But I do like Philly as a target for Johnny or Teddy at the back of the 1st. Chip would be the best thing for Johnny IMO seeing how he's bringing more of a college style approach. And no doubt I believe Blake will go in the 1st round. Probably top 10.
So you say "most" NFL decision makers aren't as stupid as me. So I take that to mean you believe I'm smarter than "some."
