You like calling others stupid. Well, I can argue that one player, Pat Beverley, cost OKC the whole season last year when they were expecting to win it all.

This year Lin has played 2054 minutes
And scored 890pts

Bev has play 1729 minutes (only 231 less)
And scored just 559.

Opposing players also have a better FG% against Bev than Lin.

 

Pbev plays mostly with the starters and against opposing teams starters

 

Ok do u have anything to say about those numbers??? Don't tell me your not smart enough to see were better when Patrick starts.

 

Why put stuck in parenthesis? I don't think there's any disputing that Lin is not moveable for anything quality in return at this point. Obviously the vast majority of the site is hoping we win a championship. Doubting a players ability and hoping they perform are two separate entities. I hope Lin makes me eat my words but my money is on the opposite

The defense and leadership is what puts Beverley over the top. Also not jumping in the air and passing to the first human being in the area helps.

 

I feel the same way I care about the rockets first I could care less how we win a championship. If lin has a huge post season I would love it but I don't think he has it in him.

With lin, just playing or staying healthy come playoffs time is already a success. Obviously, we need more to actually make his contract worthwhile. Im sure he knows that he's one of the laughingstocks in the nba so its time to prove the doubters wrong, for Rockets sake.

Did you watch last night? Bev jumped and passed at least 2-3 times..was wondering if he would get any grief for that.

 

I have no doubt he has it in him. That is not the problem. The problem is getting it out.

 

Let's hope he does. I'd love to see him come out and start being aggressive. We need him to be irrational confidence guy to make a deep run.
