Umm, this does not seem like an individual that you should be spending time with. What do we know about Tommen? Is he a little deviant too or is he just too young to really matter? Also, did y'all notice that the wedding band was Sigur Ros? Awesome!

could it be because Tywin felt he couldn't control the king? Getting rid of Joffrey places the Lannisters firmly back in power, whilst also being the least suspected suspects. For all we know, Cersei is back in the driving seat in terms of power, since Tommen is her son.
Great list and I don't think it's Sansa, not sure who but as I saw it again, maybe a combo pie/wine reaction as he drank the wine that Tyrion gave him, set it down and picked it up again from his new queen...and that line to amie was awesome...I love this show!
Not spoiler-ish, but picked up from the trailers/promos Spoiler There's one scene in the trailers where Tyrion is in chains and placed on trial, and Tywin who sits on the Iron Throne. It might be as it should've been in the 1st season, where Robert Baratheon ordered that Ned Stark be named Regent, and to rule until Joffrey comes of age. So now, it should be Tywin as Regent, until Tommen comes of age.
Got this from reddit. Its looks like they may have caught the perpetrator using some stills from a few episodes. The linked page does have spoilers so look at your own discretion. Spoiler http://imgur.com/gallery/0EQr6
let's watch it again.... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Pa6qcEgrW8I" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That's certainly the most obvious clue. I thought it was odd when it happened, before the death. But how could that incident ever have been premeditated, how would she ever have expected t get her hands on Joffrey's cup.
What a very uncomfortable episode. Everyone could see the writing on the wall, but it was very heart-pounding to see who would actually snap and off Joffrey's dickish behavior.
That's no good. I kept predicting his death to my girlfriend. It's a fine line in these cases between speculation and people assuming you have read about the plot. Her coworkers keep dropping vague spoilers to her so I have to be careful discussing the show.
Well, my thinking is that she intended to try to do it at some point, especially after what she had just been forced to watch, but did not have a specific plan, and when the cup rolled to her feet, she just took that opportunity to do it then. Remember she's been starving and half out of her mind with grief already anyway. And how totally mentally 'gone' she looked through the whole thing, almost catatonic, it's not 'out of character' for her to have done something like that in that state. I could easily see her having been manipulated into cooperating with such a plot, by Baelish perhaps, or maybe even Varis. Whoever it was, I'm thinking the Jester absolutely knows what's going on, and was in on it in some capacity.
I guess I let my guard down because I really wasn't expecting that nor was I looking for any signs of it about to happen. I'm going to miss that little guy. Sniffle.
His death was a little less gratifying than it would have been had Sansa pulled an Arya and put a knife through his neck.
Joffrey's death was inevitable. He did nothing but make enemies and piss people off. GRRM knew he couldn't realistically keep Joffrey around for very long. As to who actually was behind it, I'm thinking the old lady Tyrell may have had something to do with it. 1.) Notice her words to Sansa beforehand that foreshadowed the death "Horrid thing, to kill a man at a wedding" (Of course, you didn't really need to catch that to forecast a death, the Rains of Castamere should tip anybody off by now that when that song is played, somebody is going to get tore up). 2.) She also seemed very interested in keeping Tywin preoccupied before the feast.
I think that'd be an interesting turn especially considering how she was needling Sansa for the truth about Joffery last season.
