When Joffrey sliced the pie with his sword they showed a dead dove and its head fall off. Was it some kind of premonition?
I wanted something a little more painful. Remember when he shot those arrows into that poor w****. I really liked her.
I think it was supposed to be a reminder of Ned's and his own beheading. And what started this and why Joffrey was getting his come uppings <--- pretty sure that's spelled wrong

Ned Start was the dove for he represented peace between the North and the South, but Joffrey ended the peace by beheading him

I understand Cersei hates Tyrion, but how could she possibly think he was behind this, who has he ever killed? I realize as the viewer it's obvious to us that he didn't, but what makes her think he would be capable?
a mother just lost her child (even if he is the devil.) i'm sure she wasn't thinking logically in her grief and was just searching for someone to blame.
A mix of things -The interaction we just saw between the two + Joffrey pointing at him at the end -She knew of their disdain for each other -She is his mother, needs someone to blame -She hates Tyrion
I found it odd that Tywinn let Joffery continue his shenanigans without intervening . He seemed to be enjoying Joffery's attempts to embarrass Tyrion .
Well then. Now that is out of the way. I just have ....five ? Six ? Spoilers to go before I'm completely in the dark again. Can't wait.
download the audio books to your Ipod and listen to them while you commute or walk the dog or work out
Exactly what I did , while walking the dog . I only listened to the first 2 and decided to stop and let the show get ahead again .
