Damn, this dude is going to finish the season averaging only...

    4.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, shooting 35%, in 12.7 mins

Just a total nightmare for being the first overall pick, those numbers are literally identical to Kwame Browns rookie season stats.

The fact that he isn't getting killed by the media should tell you about this draft class.

Cavs had no problem in the frontcourt so that was a terrible pick anyway unless you were going to trade Thompson or Varejao. I can't believe they actually planned to have Bennett play SF. He was doomed from the start.

Hey now, Kwame shot 39%! Let's not short change him. Plus, he was only 19. When Brown was Bennett's age, he averaged 10.9 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 49% FG, 30 mpg.

I'm not here to defend Kwame Brown, but I think Bennett's suckiness is even worse than Brown's.

His highlight of the season was that one preseason game.

    Yeah its pretty crazy.

Now that i look at it, outside of Oladipo and Carter-Williams (and maybe T.Burke), the entire lottery has been ****.

Gorgui Dieng has looked good. Giannis Alphabet has a lot of potential.

Not only that... You don't even know how to spell his last name correctly. What a bust.

Nerlens Noel was always going to be the best player in this draft, but there are so many short sighted NBA teams they picked lesser players. He's gonna come in and immediately be the best player. It's gonna be like adding 2 high lottery picks next year for Philly, they also have the Pelicans pick (top 5 protected)

It's been rough this year, but with prospects, cap space, and a big market Philly has a bright future now that they have a GM that knows what he's doing.

VO was the guy they should have taken. Said it before the draft.

It seems having Dion Waiters was why they didn't. How stupid can a team be?

oladipo is a natural SG...so they would keep Kyrie @PG...

I went to IU with oladipo...really didnt like his move to PG. he doesnt have the handles yet to be a PG, but maybe he'll develop it....he's without a doubt a natural 2-guard though...

and, FWIW, dipo is an infinitely better fit next to kyrie than waiters.

dips os a lockdown defender who is efficient on offense/ makes great cuts/ doesnt need the ball to be effective. waiters is a chucker and plays zero D

Neither was picked in the lottery. Tim Hardaway Jr. has also been decent.

Yeah, Carter-Williams has also turned out to be a awesome pick up for them with the 11th pick.

17-6-6 and 2 steals is really nice, even though he's on the 76'rs.

If Noel can put up just 10-10 they will have a real nice pair of young players build around.

Kwame Brown embarassed Yao and other elite centers on more than 1 occasion, he is solid defensively. Why not sign Brown? He's got Play Off experience and is a bigger body than Powell.

I think it's really funny Philly ended up with two fo the best players in the entire draft in MCW and Noels.

Also I find it really funny Cavs ended up with top picks the past 3-4 years and ended up with complete trash apart from Irving which was like one of the most no-brainer pick ever. Sure guys like Waiters and TT aren't "busts" in the absolute term of the word however you can probably find guys like them in the DLeague...hell our own Greg Smith was actually outproducing TT until he got injured, and JHam/Troy Daniels could probably put up the same numbers as Waiters if given the green light to shoot. The crazy thing is every year all the mock drafts already had a "no brainer" pick for Cavs starting with Valanciunas, the Cavs always seem to buck "conventional wisdom" whenever they draft except they end up with the low end player then the guy "every joe schmoe" picks for them. How can an entire FO be worse than your average arm-chair GM? lol!
