I like Casspi as a person. I do agree he is playing hard he's just not looking too good. I feel bad for him b/c a lot of us had high hopes for him when he was playing well during preseaeson. I don't know what happened but he's regressed badly.

Agree with Jordan Hamilton, not so much about Daniel.

This is the NBA playoffs we're talking about, give me someone like Garcia over a guy with only three NBA games played 10 times out of 10.

Preseason is a lot different than nba playoffs. I think it's a matter of growing up and guidance. He's finally getting that with the rockets. Casspi might of been kicking ass in practice and went cold during the game. Stuff like that happens when you're growing up.

Thus dude is AWFUL. Hated the signing from day one. Why would you sign a guy who struggled to get playing time in SACRAMENTO AND CLEVELAND!

By now, no team respects his outside shot. And Casspi doesn't have the hops or shot blocking ability of T. Jones.

Unfortunately for him, he can't make a freaking layup. Yes he does some of the little things at times but overall, he's a terrible role player for a team that's supposed to be contending in the playoffs. I rather him shoot the open 3 and miss it instead of trying to force his way into the paint and ends up turning it over.

One thing I am worried about is that history may repeats itself if Morey doesn't solidify the bench. Our starting lineup is rock solid. The only weak spot at times is TJones because of his inconsistency at times but he's still a great young player. But our starting lineup can go against any starting lineup in the NBA.

Its our bench that worries me come playoff time. The Rockets can't have Lin, Casspi, and D-mo playing the way they have been playing lately. Lin's bad defense and horrible decision making, D-mo's foul trouble and inability to box out and grab a rebound, and Casspi terrible overall play.

Every contender has a deep team except the Rockets. Outside of the starting lineup, our team is very thin. It shows when Patrick Beverly suffered the knee injury, our PGs isn't very good. The Rockets don't have a legitimate sixth man that can come in and take the load off the shoulders of the starters. Lin was supposed to be that sixth man for this team, but he is too inconsistent lately.

Hopefully Daryl Morey is more aggressive in finding the right supporting cast for this team this summer. Morey needs to bring in defensive minded, hard-nosed players that can bring more intensity and toughness to this team. Also, Morey needs to find a sixth man that have the potential to light it up and bring a much needed scoring punch off the bench.

Keep Garcia, but the rest should go. I like Garcia's toughness and his competitiveness when playing against OKC. But the rest of the bench should be gone including Lin. I think the only two players worth keeping is Asik and Garcia.

Casspi is just horrible. I just don't understand whats going through his head sometimes. I wonder if he practice his 3 point shot during practice.

The good news is that he is on a really cheap contract.

The bad news is that he is getting playing time.

I think Casspi can play, he has shown it on many occasions, but he's trying to do too much and seems to think he's an All-Star at times. I don't trust him come playoff time, though I don't trust D-Mo either so small ball is the only way.

I told people at the beginning of the season that Casspi was garbage. There was a vocal minority of COFs that joined this website trying to tell people otherwise, but as time has gone by we have all seen what Cavs' fans saw last year and what Kings' fans saw before that, which is one of the worst players in the NBA.

Not last night. He did nothing out there. He blew an easy layup. He didn't make any outside shots. Come to think of it, he never really even looked for his offense. And his defense is weak, so we know he's not out there for that. I honestly don't know why he gets any playing time. McHale must really not like Hamilton, cuz despite his struggles, it should be a no-brainer to put him in there over Casspi.

That lay up he blew is more terrible in person. That should've been a dunk. Troy or Hamilton should be getting his minutes.

Completely agree, he has been awful since December. He cant shoot, he thinks he's better than what he really is, and he plays no defense. Hamilton and Covington should get the burn at the stretch 4 position when the rockets go small. I personally dont really like DMo too much either cause he kinda sucks too but at least he hustles on defense.

I think Morey did a poor job filling out the bench. Dmo, casspi, garcia have basically been terrible and the loss of Patterson, Morris and Delfino look worse and worse. They should pretty much give the Viper boyz some run. (Covington, Daniels and Canaan)
