Rivers played a really good game and showed off some NBA level talent especially on pick and roll plays. He missed a lot of FTs which basically cost his team a win, but he racked up a lot of fouls on Houston. Beverley gave a good effort and showed some leadership, energy and confidence in taking shots even after starting out 2 for 7. I have doubts whether he can physically hold up though.

Lin was very efficient offensively and probably saved the game on the defensive end with some very good play against Rivers during that big 4th quarter run. Harden is playing as well as Kobe on the offensive side of the ball. You almost take his 30 pts for granted. Defensively....man.....I can see why OKC thought he was more expendable than Ibaka even though Harden is one of the 10 best players in the league this year.

I agree with the commenters on Dwight Howard's tendency to leave his PGs on an island when they're getting body slammed from picks by 6'10" guys. He doesn't like to ever leave the paint.

I forgot there's one issue where I'm 100% sure how I feel. Casspi need not ever start again.

Went to tonights game, that 3 by beverley that barley bounced in was insane lol.

Did anything happen to Jones did he get injured? Or was Mchale just trying to get some 3's by benching Jones and playing T.Daniels for most of the second half?

Yeah was also at the game..the crowd went nuts when it bounced in. Some observations..Casspi was awful. Terrible body language, pouty, argumentive, clumsy, out of control. Lin and Bev were clutch as hell and Dwight played good D down the stretch. Both of them looked super focused and serious down the stretch. Harden did his thing, racked up a lot of points and assists. Got beat bad on D a few times which led to mismatches and wide open shots though. He tightened this up in the 4th. Dmo and Hamilton also sucked..Jones was meh.

Random note: watching the regulars "coach" Daniels on the floor was pretty cool to see.

I missed the game, did Beverley show any signs of being slowed by his injury?

They're both devout Christians just supporting each other. Oh, include Dwight, Canaan, Covington (seems like) in there.

Props to Jeremy for his solid performance this game

I wonder if mchale, harden, and the other rockets did something different which allowed Lin to play well today?

    Or did another injury heal?

i cant believe im saying this but maybe he is better off the bench, he's actually better when he comes in and hogs the ball and dribbles alot, it gets him into rhythm...plus there were more pnr plays for him tonight i think

Alot of these games might have been more winnable if say Garcia had light lit under his butt or Delfino were still here. Garcia needs to guard opposing wings the same way he guards Durant. If he can do this Rockets should win more games in good fashion.
