matter of fact, he might be conserving energy down the stretch by doing just that.

man I was getting goosebumps, Lins steal was on the same level of Havlicheks steal in the 70s

Lin had a solid game, he was aggressive and only had one turnovers. Yes Rivers got of but so did a lot of other Pelicans players. Our team defense was horrible again for 3 freaking quarters and a half. But when it was time they all stepped up defensively.

The key thing we need to remember going into the playoffs is the rockets give out career nights like the plague. Expect nicholas batum to score 80 and mathews to make 15 threes on the playoffs.

Robin lopez is the scrub in their starting 5 so he will have a 20-20 night with 10 offensive rebounds.

Also he conserves a ton of energy not playing D.

Rivers didn't go off. The dude shot 8/24 for 20 points. Straight up thought he could go full Kobe mode.

Rivers shot 8/24, 20 points on 24 shots. Not sure how 33% FG% is going off....

Posted in another thread as well:
For the last 11 games Lin is shooting 51.63% from three. That's no joke.

It's not the percentage. He had a stretch when he was lighting us up doing the pnr. like 5 or 6 straight shots

McHale had to change the pnr coverage. I mean, can't players make the decision themselves after they have been burned multiple times?

If Howard and sometimes Asik can relearn how to set better screens. This team needs 2 sharp shooters on the floor all the time. If you go back and look at that Knicks team it had Chandler setting up the great timed screen and Novak plus some other PF that could both shoot the 3.

It is on Lin, because he normally holds them to 15% FG%.

If Lin can keep it up in the playoffs, we will be a FORCE.

yeah, so if we want him to play D (which we should), we should help him out by resting him more.

you know he's tired because his perimeter shots were not going in. It's good he can drive in vs. the Pellies defense.

Against a good playoff team, he won't be able to get those drives. Then we'll need to depend on his 3s and midrange.

That's why he needs proper amount of rest within the game.
