Mcfail got lucky that players bailed him out. Props to him though for sticking with the small line up.

Bev, Harden, Lin were all clutch today. Nice win.
Now let's get one more W and lock up the HCA.

 

I was not Ware of this. Everyone made it sound like they were tanking because they decided to rest their two best players.

 

if lin played like this every game and we all stayed healthy we would be title contenders

 

Lin has always been inconsistent over the first 3 quarters. Some quarters he looks great, some he looks terrible, most of the time he's average.

That said, he's always been a very good 4th quarter player. He's actually one of the most accurate shooters in the 4th quarter and clutch time on the team.

It's usually a mistake to not play him in the 4th quarter.

 

Pelicans will be looking for revenge with game 82. Can the Rox hold them off?

 

Do we care as long as the 4th seed is locked?

 

Dude they were running double and triple screens for rivers too

 

Mchale always pulls him before the fourth and lets bev close the game. He does not trust him closing out close games. Glad he did tonight.

 

I've always thought our most effective line up is

the 3 guards(Bev, Lin, Harden), CParsons, and DHoward.

Problem with this lineup is, we dont have any backup guards.

Canaan is pretty good, but is not fully ready, I think.

 

Daniels needs to be in the rotation. Even though he made one shot, they were on him like white on rice b/c they knew he could shoot. That caused great spacing and allowed the lanes to be open for Harden and Lin to penetrate.

 

count me in.

we shouldn't even have to be behind that much vs the Pellies. some goofy decisions like asking the newest member of the team Daniels to make those inbound passes. we had like 3 TOs there. or playing Casspi so much in the 3rd.

we got lucky, we got hot. Pellies stopped running their pnr which we couldn't guard.

anyway we all love this bipolar team

 

they dont have their 1st round pick sixer have it unless it's top 5

 

what did u think of lin's steal on rivers at the end?

 

what made it different in the final 2 minutes is that Howard finally decided (or was yelled by the coach) to come out to guard that fcking high p&r. If the C always stay in the paint, any NBA starting PG and 70% backup PG can eat you alive with a long jumper.

 

OMG. Dude do you have Lin on replay, lube, and tissue paper out? Geeze...

big time plays by our three guard lineup down the stretch. lin, bev and harden made some huge plays.

 

Rockets win, it's beautiful. Time to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich while trying to grow a beard.
