i'm a huge lin fan but that was a pretty badly bricked layup by Lin in the last minute. harden did the right thing, not enough time to do anything else. never should have been in that position to begin with.

You know who else lost to this team?

 

Well, I still feel the Rockets would have to try to give this away. The Pelicans have shut down Davis and Gordon for the year and they're a worse team than the T'Wolves recordwise. And yes, the Rockets will be fatigued tomorrow, but they'll get Bev and possibly Dwight back and New Orleans also had to play tonight. So tomorrow is a game they have no excuse whatsoever to lose.

Then(assuming Portland wins out) it comes down to beating the Spurs at home who are likely to rest at least some of their starters since they've just officially clinched home court the entire way by knocking off the Suns or winning at New Orleans(who again have thrown in the towel on the season) Wednesday.

Like I said, the Rockets would damn near have to want to lose home court in order to not secure it.

 

Why have people still not understood that losing hca is very real now?

 

Really? Y'all arguing over who should've took the last shot after Corey godamn Brewer just pissed 51 on us? I know Sampson left but did he take the defense with him??

 

Take off LIN name, and start to think, if someone who isn't Harden doing that, and when you see harden open in the other hand, is it ok not to pass to harden while harden get 1-9? or because he is HARDEN then you said harden should not pass it to lin, just discussion , no offense

 

Nobody was going to scream about it when there's only 4s to get the ball up the court and Harden is running straight into a double team.

That's not the same as dribbling a ball down and passing.

Either way, it is what it is. Team scored enough to win, defense is what killed the team. That and critical late game TO's.

 

harden should of done a quick pass to lin once he saw the defenders comming. he wasnt even in a position to shoot. he needs to take like 3 secs to try and get open.

As a one-two punch, Rubio and Brewer are among the best in the game at forcing turnovers, so it's not surprising that the Rockets coughed it up as many times as they did. But a lot of unforced errors on the Rockets' part as well, and they never really locked in mentally as their late-season swoon continues.

If you're a T-Wolves fan, must've been a fun game to watch, with some brilliant performances from their would-be supporting cast.

 

Yes, I wanna know who's guarding ****ing Brewer too.

 

i totally agree, harden earned the right to do whatever with the ball, I think Lin could have made the 3 but who knows

 

Lin would have thrown up an air ball anyway. Remember the Heat game? You saw those misses Lin already had in the game, he almost shot a ball over the backboard.

 

That is one ugly mofo!

 

How the hell you going to come out this lackadaisical in such an important game. It just does not make any sense at all. You can blame McHale all you want and he does deserve some blame, but these players need to have some damn pride. Damn this team is so frustrating to watch.
