Of course. Small hands, can't throw well without pads on, average wonderlic score. It will be perfect this causes him to slip to the 2nd because he tends to get get more intelligent and accurate during games when it matters.
And Rick Smith is supposedly going all in on this guy? Doubt it, he didn't survive the cleansing by being stupid.
Ummm maybe concerning, but at this point of the year. You can't really trust anything from the sources of media. More importantly this close to the draft, there have been far more smokescreen and other BS that GM's play with each other through media. There is no way to find out, but for us to sit tight and wait till draft day.
Poor wonderlic...? 20 points is considered to indicate average intelligence which means Teddy's score was not poor. And most NFL teams want a quarterback to score at least 21 points so he didn't completely blow it. And a wonderlic score does not indicate decision making. Fitzpatrick went to Harvard and had a very high wonderlic score but yet he consistently does dumb sheet on the field. Same with Matt Stafford and Tony Romo. And Johnny Football had a DJ at his pro day (lol)... All these guys have high wonderlic scores but yet they make questionable decisions on and or off the field. And there is no way an intelligent person would think a 50 question test (taken in 12 minutes) is an accurate way to test a person's intelligence.
To try to gage how fast one can process information and decision making. If they really wanted a measure of intelligence they would give an IQ test. I do think Teddy's score hurts him though to go along with all the other dominoes that have been falling. Many have called him a genius so more was expected from him than just "average."

I still believe he'll be a good QB, possible the best in this draft. But I'm welcoming bad news at this point. He's not going to go #1. So if all this stuff helps him slip to #33, then so be it.
Would be the best possible scenario imaginable. Possibly even better than a trade down for tons of extra picks.
At what point does Bridgewater screw up so much in the lead up to the draft that we no longer even want him at 2.1? He's failed at pretty much everything so far. He ran a slow 3 cone, was called "meek" in his interviews, and did below par on his Wonderlic at the combine followed up by a slow 40 time and poor performance at his pro day followed up with poor performances in private workouts....it would be hard to do worse. The ONLY thing he has going for him is tape of him beating up on weak teams for the most part where if you look for them, you can still see the red flags he raised this offseason....it was just against such poor competition that they couldn't make him pay for it.
Don't know if I buy all the "shaky workout" stuff. If he truly had a poor workout and you are team sitting between 5 and 32 why announce his "shaky workouts" and push him down teams boards while other talent that you may actually want gets picked ahead of schedule. Its bad strategy at the least to announce if he had a poor workout.

The 3 cone drill simulates moving around in the pocket....he should have been able to do better than Bortles, he failed. Meek. Yes. I also heard "aloof" thrown around. Maybe not, but you have to go back a LONG way to find a successful NFL QB who did that poorly on the Wonderlic. As the game evolves, you have to be smarter and isn't it very possible that all of the "Teddy is a genius" BS was caused by him beating up on scrub teams? I know it's a rough time for you with your guy failing at pretty much everything, you have my condolences.
