The McHale aplogists can defend him as much as they want but there is no reason whatsoever that we should be giving up 33 points within 10 minutes of the 1st quarter to a team without their two best offensive players - Love and Martin. Incompetent coach is incompetent. We have a good record in spite of McHale not beacause of him. Fool's gold
I knew it. More excuses and cop outs. Please tell me how many active players can a team have per game?
this dude needs to get it together. i've been saying it for two seasons. get it through your players damn head
Pitiful. Just played Harden and Parsons for extreme minutes and STILL couldn't handle business against a lottery team missing their megastar and 4 of their top 6 players. I've tried to be cool about McHale this year because he's not going anywhere anyways, but that was the most infuriating no-show I've watched in ages.
I almost hope Beverley is out for the Playoffs. Forcing Lin to play heavy minutes. Forcing Rockets to lose in the first round. Forcing Morey's hand in getting rid of both of them. "For the greater good"
I agree with you. I'm sick of the same crap. We won't have to hope b/c the Rockets are limping into the playoffs with terrible habits they haven't addressed. All they need to do is get 2 wins to get HCA and it looks like they can't even do that against injured teams.
McHale short of Rox making WCF shouldn't be back next year. The Rox should move on. In all of his seasons Rox have fallen apart down the stretch. Its becoming very obvious they probably won't get over the hump with him. If the Grizzlies can refuse to renew Hollins and Nuggets refuse to renew Karl, two vastly better coaches than McHale, it should be a no-brainer to not renew McHale when his contact is up.
