So now Bridgewater's being compared to Chad Pennington? No more Joe Montana comparisons? lol

Brandon Marshall is playing nice. He was saying earlier that Bortles should be a #1 pick.

Smart man. You never know who's going to be throwing to you, so be nice to them all.

Culpepper says the same thing BUT they both went to the same college as Blake so could be biased.

best case for the Texans would be for Ted to fall to the second round, then somebody offers us a sweet trade deal for the 2-1 pick. I'm not convinced BO'B would take him even at 2-1.

Gruden says he's one of the top 5(or was it top 3) guys he's talked to as far as football IQ. Coaches have raved about his football intelligence.

We all know people who are wizard in one area of their life but can barely tie their shoe. Maybe Teddy is a moron, I have no idea, but on the football field he clearly knows his **** and has demonstrated it time and again.

It's quite frankly asinine to keep calling him out on football IQ when he's never once shown a lacking in that area.

He could suck in the nfl but it won't be because he's not mentally capable of absorbing a play book.

actually that's not true. Proof? Wonderlic + the fact that he was overwhelmed by Louisville's offense, so he had to learn it by "doodling and video games".

Plus I've heard rumors that the UL offense was dumbed down for him...

The vast majority of successful quarterbacks over the past decade are in the 25-40 or so range. In the teens and low 20s you're mostly looking at dual threat quarterbacks who are dumb but have other things to make up for their lack of intelligence.

No clue why anyone would want to bet their franchise's success on a physically mediocre non dual threat quarterback who is very clearly unintelligent. Maybe he's a football idiot savant.

It's football IQ that everyone is talking about not book smarts which is all the wonderlic really is. Why is it Brigewater made just about every correct read while Manziel missed open WR's time and time again? I'll let the game tape decide who is the more intelligent QB. Eli Manning got a 38 on the Wonderlic and does anyone consider him to be a smarter QB than Manning?

Don't fall into debating football smarts with amateurs who think the wonderlic really matters. It's just for identifying players who may be r****ded like VY.

It would be great if he drops and becomes the Texan's 2nd pig. I woudn't mind them trading up from the 2nd round to get him. Or trading down from the 1st pick in the first round to get him and somebody else (i.e. Clowney/Bridgewater or Bridgewater/Mack)

Come on man, nobody here has followed Bridgewater enough to make the assertion that he's made about every correct read. If that was the case, he'd be a no brainer future NFL hall of famer. In fact, you'd need multiple angles of every play to be able to come to that conclusion.

For the record, I was 100% right here. As I've said, I have extensive training in analyzing people's intelligence. What I saw in Bridgewater was an unintelligent person. Bridgewater's poor Wonderlic confirms my view and proves me right. There are so many red flags with this guy -- I feel like he's being pushed just for the sympathy vote since he has a heart-warming story about rising from poverty. My view on sympathy is that it's somewhere in between **** and syphilis in the dictionary. Sorry for the language, but it's needed to make the point.

Yes he will. Teddy will still be better than any QB we currently have.
