did I say I liked that play? I hate paul's stupid flops too but at least he doesn't generate half his offense from it like KD and Harden.
It was just a matter of time before OKC lost their concentration and the Clippers would find their stride. Nice that it was close at the end. OKC was lucky to hold on. Blazers should feel dirty they let the Kings take them down to the wire.
Does anyone here care if OKC has home court advantage over LAC in the playoffs ? To me, this means that the Thunder will be the overwhelming favorites to beat the Clips in the 2nd round, and advance to the West finals where they will (Maybe possibly) face us. If the Clippers got home court advantage, the matchup might tilt a little more in their favor, but I think the Thunder will still beat them in 7 games. The difference is .... we want LAC to at least take the Thunder to 7 games.
There is a difference between getting a defender to fall into you, while falling down on defense when there is no play. The latter is straight up cheating you homer moron. Harden does it sometimes too, but usually there is always contact. CP3 on the otherhand fabricates everything and is a born loser.
Yea I realized it after I posted it. The Mortal Kombat reference isn't all that cool, hopefully mods can remove it and can accept my apology.
I think the Heat and Pacers are both tanking for the #2 seed. Charlotte then Toronto is probably a fair trade for home court, New York and Chicago/Brooklyn. Either that or they just both suck
HAHA you have got to be kidding me. Harden is the worst in the league at just taking a dive. "Always contact"? Really? Let's see... FFS, it happened like two weeks ago! And there are dozens just like it. How some people here are so blind to the most obvious rule abuser in the league is beyond me.
I think both Indy and Miami will get their act together once the playoffs start. You called the Griz game saying Miami was going to lose in Memphis. Any thoughts on the big showdown Fri.? Thinking about making a big play on that game. I think it would be depend on whether Haslem, Oden, and of course Wade are playing because Indy presents the same problems down low when it comes to rebounding and interior defense that the Griz do. Looking at it from a situational angle, beyond the obvious hca in the East, I think watching their 2nd unit beat the Bucks tonight might be something the Pacers starting 5 can rally around going into Miami in addition to the rest. I have a hard time backing either team at the moment, but line should be Heat -3. What do you think? Clippy, if you did, you shouldn't have bet on the Clips tonight. I know that's your team, but opening at 3.5 was an OKC line all the way. If books felt Clips were going to win tonight, line would've opened up at 4.5 to 5.5 like all their other games that had the home team favored. LAC really needs Crawford back and healthy for the post-season.
I honestly have no idea what to expect. Literally 'all bets are off' lol. I definitely thought they were gonna take care of Brooklyn after losing the first 3 games against them. Gun to my head, I'd probably take Indi and the points, but there are so many variables as you mentioned. It would really help to know who's playing. Also, Roy Hibbert becomes Wilt Chamberlain and David West becomes a 6'10" Barkley against Miami. Then again, if LeBron goes bonkers there's nothing anybody can do. I know it sounds like I'm taking the easy way out, but there are just too many unknowns here for me to recommend a big play on either side.
Also, if Norris Cole plays more than 15 min the Heat will lose. My goodness I have no idea what happened to him, he's SO BAD right now. To think that he was a hot trade commodity at the deadline, and they could've possibly had Vucevic for him a year ago
