    Howard would have made the difference, he is much quicker on defense.

    If this Lin shows up in the playoffs the rockets are title contenders IMO

    To be fair it's rare for Lin to be one of the featured guys in the offense.
    Lin averages 9 shot attempts PER GAME for the season. He's taken 9 at the half already. His role isn't consistent, his minutes aren't consistent, so I don't see how his performances should be expected to be consistent.

    When other play well , Lin is the sixth option of the team. How consistent he can be？

    I really believe the reason for Lins inconsistent play is his confidence. If he starts off bad he'll play timid for the rest of the game. If he gets a few shots to go in he plays so much more aggressive and not hesitating to shoot.

    Lin got that many shots this game is because Harden is off. Credit to Harden for giving Lin the ball when his shots are not falling.

    I think this has at least somewhat to do with his role. He is at best the 3rd option on the team so he often doesn't have the luxury play his way out when he is in a funk.

    I guess it's different in the NBA cause it's a JOB but I would like to see McHale tell a few players that it's obvious you don't want to play tonight so you can just go shower.

    He's still hesitating though.

    There were a couple of drives Lin had a good midrange jumper open and he just pumpfaked.

    TAKE IT MAN! No one else is doing anything, lol...

    This is not to say that I think he should necessarily be given that luxury. Fact is Rockets have Harden, Howard, and Parsons so if Lin isn't playing well then why give him the ball?

    What the hell is wrong with Jones? He's either scrubbing or balling. When he gets burned, he gets TORCHED. The other team's PF then has his way with him....
