Damn, can't you SPOILER your title!! I was recording this. grrrrrr Spoiler no I wasn't, but some people probably are. Wrong forum
crazy to think that their womens program can win another national championship tonight and go undefeated as well. Also, UCONN's Men's team has won 3 out of their 4 championships in the state of Texas - 2004 in San Antonio 2011 at Reliant and last night in "North Texas". Final Four is coming back to Houston the year after next.
Insane stat : Men are 4-0 in title games. Women are 8-0 in title games. I dare you to give me a more ridic stat...
But yes, let's celebrate their on the court success! Who cares they don't give a damn about the actual kids education.
There's a big difference between 8% and 82%, which is Kentucky, the team they beat. The different is 74%, in case you went to UCONN. But let's ignore that and go back to how hard it is for Napier to see his jersey "selled" and how he goes to bed hungry.
Given Kentucky's focus on recruiting one-and-dones and cycling through a whole new collection of players every year, I'm pretty sure they don't graduate 82% of their players. Now, you can argue that they are leaving for good job opportunities, which is great - but let's not pretend that Kentucky cares about their *education*.
UCONN women also winning their 9th title tonight by destroying another undefeated team. All Hail UCONN basketball men and women.
