I'm on my phone so I won't address everything but...

shield gets disbanded then reformed in various incarnations a lot. The hydra being in control of shield thing was addressed in the comics before as well. U believe shield currently exists.

Not sure I haven't watched since the third episode or so bit it makes sense. They knew shield was going to be disbanded at the end of the movie all along as well so maybe.

From what I remember, SHIELD was never a big part of the Avengers or the Marvel Universe. They definitely showed up in the background from time to time but their role was way smaller in the major storyarcs of the past. It felt weird to me that SHIELD was so prominent. So them disbanding really shouldn't be a big deal and it's a welcome surprise for me personally. Marvel will find a new way to hold the "glue" together for these characters going forward.

Don't read this one if you don't want a potential Guardians of the Galaxy spoiler. But it does shed light on your question.
SHIELD shows up in the next Marvel movie in some way - http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=96230

That's not true. Shield has been the forefront of a lot of conflicts. The whole Civil War story was basically the "registered heroes" with Shield, vs everyone else.

Then the Dark Avengers story arc was about Norman Osborn tricking everyone into thinking he was a good guy, then changing Shield to Hammer (? I think this is the right order, it's been awhile) and controlling all of it with villains.

It just depends on the story you're talking about.

Side note: I didn't see anything about shield in the second link you posted. Wrong link?

On my link, look at the article, there is a space left intentionally blank (white on white text) because it's spoilered. Highlight that piece of text and you'll see what I'm talking about. Or try searching the page for the phrase I referenced...

On the stories you mentioned, those are relatively recent, and written after the emergence (and interest) of SHIELD in the movies. Take into account how long the franchise has been around, not just what they've been pushing in the books since Iron Man 1...

    I see it now.

I'm afraid you're mistaken; Civil War came out in 2006...Iron Man came out in 2008. Filming didn't even begin on the movie until Civil War had been finished for almost 6 months.
Not to mention the "Ultimates" was created in 2002, that was when Nick Fury started being based after Samuel L Jackson. Nick Fury/Shield assembles the Avengers, and even has a hand in creating the Hulk there.

The Clairvoyant was Zola. I noticed the Cap Shield not absorbing energy like in the Avengers as well. The Falcon had all the talents to be in the Avengers in the first place...it was just convenient that Cap befriended a guy working at the VA that had these talents without him knowing it.

I've already seen the best Batman can be thanks to Nolan, and I hated Man of Steel. A Batman Beyond sequel to DKR would have been better, Superman just can't mix well with other superheroes, just too OP.

No question who's getting my money.

Superman is such a lame character, he's way too powerful and he's the 'goodiest' of goody-two-shoes. I'm glad they fixed that issue with Cap this time around. He's certainly more of a "realistic" or believable character than Superman.

After Zod nearly kills everyone on the planet, and fights with him for another 20 minutes after the fact, he's still trying to reason with him and still has an issue with finishing the job? What an uber p***y.

Did you watch Man of Steel? They certainly didn't make him the 'goodiest' of goody-two-shoes as you put it.

Anywho, I can't see Batman vs Superman staying on that release date. It just doesn't make fiscal sense, in my opinion. For either of these movies. While CA2 was a very good movie, Batman vs Superman has literally the two biggest superheroes in the world, and some of the biggest movie icons in history. While panned by critics, Man of Steel was statistically well-received by the general audience. Add to that the insane marketability of Batman, the added marketability of Wonder Woman's debut, the intrigue of the casting (Affleck, Eisenberg), the surely amazing marketing campaign and trailers that will come from it (much like Man of Steel) and now with the academy award winning screenwriter from Argo....I just don't know why Marvel would risk losing money to BvS.

Conversely....Batman vs Superman should move from that date too. Though it's got the biggest movie icons, hype, and other things going for it that will (90percent surely) break the billion dollar mark, they'd be going up against the tried, true, and successful Marvel way. And it's not just any Marvel movie, but it'll be following Avengers 2 and a sequel to a great movie. As much money as BvS can make, it'll be losing a bunch to a Captain America that will have the same directors, writers, and marketability as Cap 2.

One of these movies has to move from the date, for both of these movies' sake.

Guys, guys guys. After sitting for more than 150 mins of Winter Soldier I can honestly say, it's not better than the first one. Heck it's not even better than Iron Man 3. First of all Chris Evans, I don't know man the guy is just too monotone and dry for my taste. I'm not sure if it's how it is with the Comics but when I watch Robert Downey Jr in Iron man movies, I'm hooked right away, he's entertaining, you could take away the Iron Man suit and just have tony stark and it still would interest me. Yeah, the fight scenes and action might be better than the first movie but it doesn't mean much. Oh and the highlight for me anyways was black widow, Scarlett Johanson needs her own movie like bad. Before the movie started did anyone catch Lucy trailer? I'm actually looking forward to that cause she can carry a damn movie and my interest unlike Chris Evan. As for the Winter Soldier guy, is he anti-social? Does he not talk?

If I was Marvel, I would sacrifice money to have Cap America go against BvS. BvS will likely slaughter Cap, but Cap may prevent a foothold for DC. It would look bad for BvS to move.

Stark is a more interesting character then Cap and does him really well. Cap has always been a kind of bland character and Evans fits how I see him.

On Winter Soldier, he's a guy who gets his memories erased regularly, spends his free time as an ice cube, and generally sent on missions alone. Yeah, I don't think he is a very talkative guy.

I enjoyed the movie a lot more than Cap I. I do prefer Iron Man and the Avengers, though.

Oh right, hahahah. I thought Falcon was pretty cool, great casting on their part, would a spin off Falcon movie work?

So you think Chris Evans is a bad actor and you think Scarlet deserves her own movie? Interesting take...

I mean I don't think he was bad, I just wanted a little more personality. I was looking for more sarcasm but he plays it straight. He's alright, like I said, I enjoyed the first movie way more though.

Cap isn't a sarcastic guy. If you want to see Evans over the top look at him as Human torch. Personally I think Scarlet is an awful actress. She's the only casting mistake they've made so far in my opinion. Don't get me wrong she's cute, but I don't ever think black widow when I see her, and when she opens her mouth it really goes out the window.
