The rest of the inning playing out the same, Villar/Altuve cost Cosart those 3 runs. Villar for trying to get the out at second when there was no chance and Altuve just holding the ball rather than making the turn to get Pujols at first.
Cosart still walked the two guys to increase the traffic, one on 4 pitches, and was clearly not on the same page with Corporan, evidenced by the THREE mid-AB mound meetings. I also don't think Altuve would have gotten out Pujols, and runs the risk of a wild throw which further complicates the inning.
