i think the people who has a problem with the new daario got a boner from the last one and now y'all went limp, i really didnt see much of an issue with it, kinda like when they changed out colonel rhodes in iron man

in part yes, the other guy was better looking but also had a "killer" attitude this new guy just doesnt have.

The new guy just looks like a regular guy doesnt stand out at all.

Great episode. Don't care for new Daario.

Not new guys fault, or because last dude was so great, I just don't like the continuity being shot so quickly. We just got to know the other jackass, barely, now we got this guy? He better do something interesting and believable, quickly.

The old Daario had a mysterious smirk to him that made it hard to trust or know his intentions. Made him seem more like a mercenary and fit well in the series as nobody is really trustworthy, besides a Stark whose honesty gets them killed.

New Daario looks like a Dothraki regular, and without realizing it, people could've confused him as some random Dothraki. We haven't seen much of his acting but he definitely hasn't shown anything great that can make us forget about old Daario.

BTW, just as a bit of trivia, did anyone notice that top billing in the opening credits went to the three Lannister children? Interesting that it worked out that way.

    Not to worry.

Remember all the previews, some dude on his charging horse with lance drawn, and another guy (don't tell me you don't recognize him now?) standing as if daring the horseman to ride him down?

Daario will make himself known fairly well, fairly quickly.

I thought both Daario's didn't do the book Daario justice. Someone said Fabio to Eric Bana, which I agree with. It's just a reskin of an adequately executed character.

That sums it up IMO as well. Old Daario just had that cocky arrogance to him that made him seem like a badass pimp daddy. New Daario is just there, nothing so far that gives me that same vibe.

Plus, Dany almost wet herself the moment she saw 'Old Daario', but this new guy, she is telling him to ride in the back of the bus.

Not saying you're wrong (And I haven't tried to re-listen or anything), but context would indicate that "serving" or "to serve" makes a lot more sense.

I thought that was one of the best things to happen in the episode . Would be really happy to hear she was thrown into the narrow sea and never appears on screen again .

Something that just struck me as odd/funny, was when Polliver as Hound if he had any money, and Hound said "not a penny." I didn't know they had the same currency system in Westeros as they do in the modern US.

the US isn't the only country that uses the term "penny" for their currency

The new Daario was also in the HBO show Treme. In that he plays a junkie musician, so it was really weird seeing him in Game of Thrones.

old daario was mysterious and dreamy, looked like he belonged in the game of thrones world. no homo.

new daario looks like waiter in hollywood trying to make it as an actor.

All the hate this New Dahrio is receiving is hilarious! I don't like him that much either but at least give it a couple of episodes. Reminds when Spartacus was replaced in that show!

It's not so much the acting with Dario, but they kind of changed his character from someone who was trying be cocky and sexual with Dany to some romantic comedy style approach to wooing her. Compound that with the actor change and it is more jarring. They didn't really try to make the actors look anything similar either. But oh well, we'll see how it goes from here.

Tommen and Mountain also have been replaced this season, making it the 3rd time the Mountain has been recast.
