Lins 'struggle' was being underrated as a 3rd string point guard instead of being where he should be...a 2nd string point guard. Such struggle. Much pain.

Juggling DOTA, Youtube videos, making 25 million playing basketball, and having an obsessed group of fanatics that will follow you around everywhere you go to defend you. Someone start a charity group to raise awareness.

 

Go watch the Lin movie , it's on netflix. I was probably the first clutchfan to see it a year ago.

To be clear:
1) Comparing Lin to Robinson was hardly my main point. My main point argument was against chenjy9's argument: that the results of Lin overcoming his obstacles of racism somehow justified the racism itself, and thus no one should criticize the existence of those obstacles. That's like saying since Obama's president, we can't criticize racism in politics anymore.

2) When I did compare Lin to Robinson, my apologies that I did so in a vague way. I cleared it up in a followup post. My meaning was to compare how Lin inspired Asian Americans to how Robinson inspired African Americans. My goal was not to compare their exact obstacles/hardships or their skill level. Thus my use of the word "analogy."

It really amazes me, how such a sub-point, was perverted and made into this thread just to attack LOFs (in this case me?). Have you no decency?
