Will beat either one of them in seven. Assuming we have Howard and hopefully Beverly back.

    You got that right!

We gonna stomp them like how TJ stomped that Portland guy.

That was only a foreshadowing of what's about to happen.

    P.S.

with Howard and Beverly back (hell just with Howard back). Yes ,we match up extremely well against both of those teams in a 7 game series. The Howardless games, we've been terrible on the boards and Asik has missed a ton of silly easy layups. I think we can survive with Howard or Bev out, but not both. Those are our two best defenders on the team.

Worse than those two, our bench needs to step up. I'm liking that Garcia has been hitting those corner 3's (Thunder game). If he can get on the streak he had during last years round 1, he would be an incredible boom to this team (not to mention he's an annoying defender when he wants to be). Omri needs to get whatever mojo he had at the beginning of the season too. He was a perfect compliment to the 2nd unit when he was driving to the basket and hitting his 3's. He also had a mean midrange floater/jumper that he used to always bank in at the start of the season.

If they're both injured, our bench is playing as mediocre as it has been the last couple of months, and all we're relying on is Harden to beast mode through a game, I think it's 50/50 against GSW and probably 60/40 in Portland's favor. GSW rely on Curry the same way we rely on Harden. In a 7 game series, I figure it goes deep and it's whoever has the hot hand. Neither team has an answer for the other's scorer other than... score more.

Portland has way too many weapons. Batum vs Chandler would probably cancel each other out, but Aldridge and Lillard would cripple us. You can throw Asik on Aldridge, but that takes away your big from the center paint since Aldridge thrives on the 20 ft mid range. That leaves the paint wide open for the Blazer's pistol play. Sure, Harden will pull out 2-3 steals where he taps the ball out from behind his guy, but it's most likely going to net a negative point differential for the Rockets.

    With Howard and Bev out...

GSW: 6-7 games, toss a coin
    POR: 5-6 games, POR

    With only one out...

    GSW: 5 games, HOU
    POR: 6 games, HOU

    With both in...

    GSW: 4-5 games, HOU
    POR: 4-5 games, HOU

honestly, I'd keep howard out until a game or two before the playoffs. let him get back to 100%. whoever we play will will beat as long as howard is back. without him and bev its a tossup.

next, i'd keep bev out until the second round. we dont need him to come back too soon. we want him 100% for the rest of the playoffs when we will need him if we want to advance.

Yes and I rather want Warriors because they give us more of a challenge.

I'd rather NOT have a challenge so our players are fresher for the second round.

Frankly should go 4-1, 4-2 at most. We will move on to the second round. We need to sign T-Mac.

That is the intent, as an article on chron.com discussed.
