Does Lin get forced to put up low percentage shots way too often?

LMAO tc got hammered in his own thread.

Anyway, I agree that Lin is often a victim of Harden's BS when the shot clock goes down. Not an excuse though because other players become a victim of it as well. Goddammit Harden stop doing that already unless the guy is really wide open!

I think the solution to this problem would be to run a Beverley/Canaan rotation and bench Lin until Harden becomes unracist. I think we can all agree.

I don't think it happens as frequently as the OP suggests, but Harden does have a habit of dribbling down the clock and passing it off with 2 seconds or left on the clock. Lin/Bev/AB were the most frequent recipients of those last-minute passes earlier in the season, but he doesn't seem to do it as much anymore.

ETA: I always said I wished they'd pass it right back to him on those occasions. I bet he'd get the message then lol.

victim in what way, that he has to take a bad shot? shet happens when you iso and can't find a way to score, you have to pass it off to someone else. I'd rather see Lin take a bad shot than Garcia taking a bad shot because Lin will more likely score than Garcia.

but yeah you are right, Harden needs to iso for shorter time when he realizes he is getting nothing out of it, because it does make it harder for his teammate to get any high percentage shot with so little time on the shot clock.

it's weird how everything is made about Jeremy Lin, when in reality the issue is really Harden should learn the timing of his iso's and know when to run a different play

Harden is normally iso-ing on the perimeter. When he can't get the play going, he'll look for the closest/easiest outlet which normally is another perimeter player. Lin just happens to be that. But Lin isn't the only "victim". It happens to Bev/Parsons/Cannan too. Take off your Lin goggles. Not everyone is out to get him.

I would agree that Harden used to do this a lot and does it less often now.

Point guards are usually the players forced to take the most end-of-the-shot-clock shots on any team, so it's hardly surprising that it still happens to some degree.

If you consider wide open 3's from others ball movement a "low percentage shot"...t hen yes, Lin is a victim. smh

Somebody tell him to keep his toe off the line too.

For most people who have ever really played basketball, sometimes all you need is a good pass to put you in rhythm to shoot. Since it was clearly a "Harden iso" being used to say harden is the reason lin misses a lot, other people like parsons and beverly knock down their shots similar to one the ones lin misses.

Hey, if people are so concerned about Lin being forced to take bad shots, maybe Lin can hide in the corner so Harden can't find him and make him the victim.

But then they will for sure complain about McFail misusing Lin. Oh well...

But they do, how many times When the clock goes down, they dump the ball to Harden ? He is clever enough to try to take the contact or make a step back jumper. As everyone said before, Jeremy passes too many wide open shots and also i don't like his fadeaways a few feet away from the basket.

He does diappear.. He learned now instead of exposing his poor shooting, he d' give it back to the nearest player in red... Sometimes he gave it to players with diffrent uniform color

It just shows how little the mods care about this forum. If they did, they would lock all these worthless lin thread.

He misses too many easy layups for this point to be valid.

Let's now start a poll if Lin had it harder than Robinson. Might as well since this forum is always discussing Lin to death.
