New Chevelle <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/SYV5VKz_U9U?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Found this looking for some George Lynch solo work <iframe width="640" height="390" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cD40-CJljas" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Ok, I thought about. That KXM song ain't that good, so here you go: something you can listen with your girlfriend. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Imixg3jrJS8?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sounds interesting. Any Donna Summer stuff like this one? <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/94pBEjTN-Is" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Donna Summer & the Dancing Dutchman!
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/SFHWl-ZyRAg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 1974 - This Paul Anka is pretty much a product of the 70s I'd say. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xYoogY-UGio" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 1973 <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/7xd44PWZGzg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> 1972
**** Yeah love the glam and the disco <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Xay4S_3oWu4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Keep hearing it was a b****ing time for music but a filthy place to live <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/z-K4FPGdXbE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> another jam <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/a1ARtD-vhPs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/_Qqld-vRjsM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> my 4 month old was out before the track even ended. I highly recommend the Rockabye Baby series of lullaby cover songs.
Vena Sera and Sci-Fi crimes are my favorites, didn't really like Hats off to the Bull too much and this looks like it will kind of sound like it.. Wish they kind of fell back on their older style even though you have to credit Chevelle to be one of the few bands that have stuck to their main routine for so long.

Yes, all excellent songs. I had to specifically write a scene in which this kid who had a brain injury as a result of a car accident has to learn to do everything all over again (it's set in the 70s, his car accident was in 1969). Anyway, his girlfriend takes him to a disco- it's about 1977 at this point- and although he can walk, he still limps a bit and is petrified to dance b/c he thinks he's going to look like an idiot. So, when they come in the disco, Disco Duck is playing- and everybody on the floor doing a line dance, the Duck dance- and they basically all look like idiots. And a huge Duck mascot joins them. So, she says to him, "David, everyone looks kinda dumb when they dance. Look at all of them out there- don't they look stupid?" He agrees, and so they join everyone looking like fools with the Duck dance. That's his way of overcoming his fear of embarrassment in public. So, I envisioned something like this (well, except it looks more like The Odyssey discotheque from Saturday Night Fever), including everyone pogoing at the end: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/ynWhozyOoZQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Yeah, I was actually going to use I Love You from Summer, but I had to think of a song that starts slow, then speeds up, cause at first, it's a couples-only dance, then it goes back to the disco dance. The guy is slow-dancing with her, then they separate as the song speeds up and start regular dancing. And of course the guy with his weak leg looks awkward, and this drunk jerk makes fun of him. So, they leave, and the guy's girlfriend asks the jerk to dance, and basically kicks his ass on the dance floor- you know, stepping hard on his foot, kneeing him in the balls "by accident," that kinda stuff. So, I found a perfect slow/fast song: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/w-l5FyA3pgo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And I haven't decided between Macho Man, Tragedy, or Jive Talking- each one has an ironic meaning as she's kicking the drunk jerk's ass, so any of them is good. But I'll probably go with this: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/XBw25CrUS-o" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Watching all of the Miami Vice episodes again...one or two at a time...running into some great music I forgot about. Episode: Little Miss Dangerous Song: Public Image Limited - The Order Of Death <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/uoKcfQ6Ldow" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Miami Vice clip with the song... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vtDWEJ7_79E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

they make a pretty glorious noise for just two guitars and drums. <iframe width="853" height="480" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/J8RQQd-g2ig?list=UU3oyA81DnEYpgN8n9wBG9rw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I looked that up and it actually worked... for me. Some of the Queen stuff helped me with my sleep the other day. Good stuff!
