Is Jeremy Lin the Asian Jackie Robinson of our time?

Did you see that dump his family was still living in prior to summer 2012. It had a car port and was a crappy rambler. For me I know how to fix it up but for him and his family, it was a dump.

 

What the hell are you talking about? I'm a Lin fan and I don't make that comparison. You're so freaking weird coming up with this thread. Get a life.

 

I cannot put down any Asian/Asian-American/Taiwanese/Chinese-American who chooses to treat Lin as their OWN VERSION of Jackie Robinson. Lin is the first Asian-American player in the NBA (yes, I'm ignoring that one guy that really didn't do anything in the NBA, but was brought up only because of Linsanity. And seriously, who knows the first African-American in the NBA? I had to google it.) There is no better person to look to for inspiration if you are Asian-American and seriously want to play in the NBA, and Lin is honestly a great role model for it.

 

And another thing, Lin isn't going out there going, "boo hoo, my story is better than Robinson, feel sorry for me." He's doing his thing and he wanted to be in the NBA and now he's here. Let him be. The LOFs only seem to come out (I don't support the really insane ones btw), when Lin constantly is the only one that gets criticized, especially when it is clear that the other players are sucking as well. The OP must be sick of reading about Lin, so why start ANOTHER thread on him? It's as if you guys don't like him, but you strangely are addicted to discussing every facet of his game. Get over your obsession of Jeremy Lin. It's worst than Lin fanatics.

 

These threads would mostly vanish if Lin stopped being mediocre and inconsistent.

 

They would also vanish if people didn't post, or respond. Or how about being created in the first place?
