All this thread is to people is "do you like Lin or not". The SAME people who who like Lin are never gonna vote in an y negative way no matter how you put it. It's like a cult, man.

You hate Tmac, while I think he was hurt and gave up due to bad chemistry with Artest..

if Lin is the man in the playoff, then that's bad... why? because that means either:

    A. Harden is playing poorly
    B. Harden went down

Harden & Lin are 1 and 1A playmakers on the team... the way the team is constructed Lin is redundant. While it isn't impossible for them to both have good/great games, it unlikely for them to both have 20+ game at the same time... if Lin stays around 45% / 35% 12-18 ppg...Rox should be okay... that's about as good as Lin can be on this team in this system.

    Yes, I hope so.
We can't rely on too much from James Harden and Dwight Howard

it depends on which one of his personalities decide to show up. if it's the guy who has the eye of the tiger, waves off harden and steps up and consistently hits his 3's and has the look we'll be ok.

if it's the personality that looks like a deer in the headlights, constantly defers to harden, plays erratic and unstable, airballs 3's, jumps in the lane and passes to asik who drops it out of bounds and misses point blank layups and acts as though he's never played basketball then we're screwed and have no bench unless we play okc and garcia hopefully steps up.

the only injury lin has now is in his head. mentally he's just not himself..not sure if he's afraid of getting traded over the summer, trying to hard to earn his contract or what but he's not injured, possibly a little tired from playing more which is why he is short rimming layups.

I really, really hope so. It's just that with his recent up and down play, i just don't see it. He makes too many mistakes at the wrong time.

You aint no kid who believe in Santa Claus.

The team should be the hero. Harden and Dwight are Allstars and are better than the rest. Lin is inconsistent. He can play like an Allstar one game or one stretch and be a scrub other games.

That is known. Or he can average his 8-12 points a game consistently. Have no problem with that too.

If howard commits to the pnr with lin, they will get the easy baskets. Thats where lin and dh will thrive in the playoffs. Harden will always have his numbers.

Lin is the 4th to 6th option in the team right now, so stop expecting him to be the 2nd or 3rd best player in the team consistently, not gonna happen. He can't outplay his role. So if he has 10pts and 2asts, that's normal, not struggle. No need to hate. A double digit contribution from bench is a bonus. Let's all be practical and devote more threads to harden and howard. They are the dominant factors how deep we can go in playoffs.

I'd be quite happy if Lin averaged T-Mac's playoff numbers, would put him in the best of all-time list stats-wise.

tinmac - where one of the highest playoff career averages and PER of all-time is considered an individual playoff failure.

You have the basketball-iq of a stick, embarassing.
