Fastest first step last season is last season. Canaan wasn't here then. Canaan is pretty quick in his own right.

The actual quote was "Lin is the highest accelerating player we've measured."

Amazing how the Rockets won almost 50 games with a "back up" pg as a starter last season with no Dwight and the youngest roster in the league.

I am all for Bev as the starter. He fits perfectly into the starting lineup. Canaan? He is a season or two away from being a contributor. He may hit some wide open three point shots, but everywhere else he is going to be a minus. Canaan is in the future and will have little if any positive effect on this season.

Thank you sir. Since Morey had full access to SportsVU data I must assume that he is completely correct.

    "Canaan is gonna improve"
"That means Canaan is better than Lin right?"

    "Canaan's not NBA ready yet"
"So you mean Canaan better than Lin right?"

"I can't find my car keys"
"You just wrote Canaan is better than Lin right? Don't lie!!!"

I know he was mostly a scoring guard in college, but his asst to tov rate was horrendous. Hopefully that will change going forward.

Why the **** did Morey get rid of Aaron Brooks again? Dude has been good to the Rockets his entire career. Morey needs to get rid of Lin asap and get Rondo down here STAT!

Eh, he did it in part because Brooks was not getting quality minutes here. The playing time offered him an opportunity to earn a contract for next year. Morey was not mistreating him. Hindsight is 20/20.

Canaan just isn't ready yet. I think next season he'll be a big contributer off the bench.

He kind of reminds me of Bobby Jackson. Similar build and skill set.

Clyde says a lot of things. Seals going to clubs and the like.

He has shown some pretty nice flashes lately though.

He also called Rafer Alston a dark horse for an all star slot one year.

But for real, IC looked good against some D-League caliber scrubs and Aaron Brooks tonight.
