Career high 23 rebounds! That's what our BACKUP center is capable of. This team is gunna be fun to watch in the playoffs!!! Pat and Dwight will be back soon enough, this one of the best rockets playoff teams. WCF or bust!
Yeah honestly I wouldn't put much into tonight's game. 60% of our starting line-up and 1/3 of our regular rotation was out tonight. Things will get better. It's more important guys like Asik/Garcia continue to shake the rust off. We'll need them in the playoffs.
The only good thing about Howard being out is Asik is getting back into shape. This will be good for him and the team once the playoffs get going.
Another 23 rebound game and this one ended in a W! Very nice! Of course, it doesn't happen without Harden's heroics but WHAT A GAME!
He and Jeremy Lin will be the key if we want a long playoff run. You know what you are going to get from the starter, except Jones but if those two guy can step up, we will be so dangerous. Lin is the key to the bench offensively. If he can hit some shots, play aggressive and be solid our bench can flow and our starters can rest. Omer and his elite rebounding and rim protection skill will be so important in the playoffs. 48 minutes of elite paint protection is something very rare and important in this league.
Asik's obviously not as talented as Dwight. But Dwight can learn from Asik in terms of effort. Asik takes no plays off regardless of what the circumstances are
