This team rides and dies with Harden...Harden didn't give a **** tonight and thats why we lost. He's done a pretty damn good job though outside of this game.
What an awful effort by the squad today. Absolutely no effort whatsoever from anyone on defense, and total scrubbage on offense. Harden had one of his random strangely un aggressive games. With us being down 3 starters and having absolutely no depth, the only way we were winning this game was if Harden took it upon himself and went all out, and he didn't seem to care. With Dwight and Beverley out the next game or two, a 4 game losing streak is looking like a sure thing. Rockets are a lot closer to losing HCA than most people think.
And the worst coach award goes to...... This is on McHale. Plain and simple, reminds me of 76ers game, put Lin on Anderson and Livingston in this game. If the awful TNT commentators could tell the mismatch, why couldn't you? And then you get mad at Lin when Livingston practically having a field day out there abusing Lin. Lin had a good game, yes a good one! He was aggressive and constantly going to the rim, that's the Lin we need if we want to go deep into the playoff. Harden is our superstar so I will cut him some slack and he was deferring a lot tonight, but he's gonna need to play better defense. Parsons is pretty inconsistent, can't decide when to show up. I don't know what happen to Hamilton, he's pretty much out of rotation. Casspi and Dmo? Meh. Canaan is not ready, people on this board said otherwise are having their own agenda.

Bev is wolverine but I don't even think he can guard two people at once. Lin on the other hand must be held to a higher standard. You're right, Lin should've have been able to cover Harden's man too. Lin sux!
Not necessarily true. There are lots of broke artists and musicians who happen to be well regarded in their scenes or social circles and girls still flock to them. You can have status and recognition without being filthy rich.
Our perimeter defense is miles better with Beverley playing. It's so obvious if you have watched the Rockets at all this season.
No. He was out-coached by himself. Just start the game with more traditional defense assignment. If it doesn't work, then make adjustment accordingly. Starting the game with adjustment, what message are you sending to your own team and the opposite team?
Good god. We are on the road, playing a semi decent team, with one big....ONE. Not to mention missing our best perimeter defender. We had 40 minutes of play time without a single power forward on the court. We had a raw rookie PG playing significant time. Sometimes, you just don't win games.
