Well that's why I was suggesting waiting a few days, even then, if this one was any indication, it'll take damn near a month before it's done getting votes.
I think it's fun comparing the different sites. The last BattleTedBlog poll was about a week before this one and the results couldn't be different. Clowney 39% Bridgewater 27% Manziel 18% Bortles 10% Mack 3% Jake Matthews 1% Someone else 2%
It's funny how the only people bringing in the "us vs. them" mentality are Aggie fanboys. Last I checked we're all Texans fans and want the best player. but if Manziel gets picked by another team I'm sure you Manziel fanboys will be rooting against the Texans when they play on Sundays.
How about less trash talking and more draft talk? They don't have to be the same thing. I prefer Manziel or Clowney, but I'm ok with Bortles or even Bridgewater. People need to calm down.
Why, so Johnny can embarrass him...??? That dude couldn't catch Blake. He definitely wouldn't get his hands on Johnny.
From over the weekend: <script src="http://player.espn.com/player.js?playerBrandingId=4ef8000cbaf34c1687a7d9a26fe0e89e&adSetCode=91cDU6NuXTGKz3OdjOxFdAgJVtQcKJnI&pcode=1kNG061cgaoolOncv54OAO1ceO-I&width=576&height=324&externalId=espn:10693862&thruParam_espn-ui[autoPlay]=false&thruParam_espn-ui[playRelatedExternally]=true"></script>
That doesn't make much sense, are you trying to suggest that Bortles and Schaub are similar QB's? Schaub doesn't have anywhere near the pocket mobility that Bortles does, and Bortles doesn't have Schaub's passing ability. I mean, they are both big and white, but that's about all they have in common.
I'm OK with Bortles since he's got everything you'd want in a QB prospect, but I'd prefer to take Clowney #1 (ultra elite talent) and then pick someone like Mettenberger, Murray or Savage later in the draft. I think there is decent QB depth in the draft, but not ultra elite talent at the position. That would suggest waiting for a QB.
Still hope not. Blake seems like he could be very mediocre. The kind of pick where we will be regretting not taking JFF or even Clowney.

My prediction: With the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans make a mistake. Signed, Clutchfans
