I had originally figured on being able to edit to make this tidier and easier, so I contributed and still am not able to edit and still have not even been acknowledged as a contributor. So, between that and the slowness of some of the GM's, I lost interest - no use beating a dead horse. Some people took the initiative, kudos to them.
Let's try this. Last i checked the Texans have 11 picks in the draft. 1 in each of the first 3 rounds. 2 in the 4th. 1 in the 5th. 3 in the 6th and 2 in the 7th. Each member gets his own full draft. Let's do rounds 1,2,3 this week, rounds 4-5 next week, round 6 the week after and round 7 after that. This way we'll finish up our draft right before the actual draft.You have from Monday to Fri. to post your picks(debatable). It doesn't matter who picks who. Also, keep a record of your picks(maybe sig worthy). IDK. What do you all think?
If I follow you, coachbadlee, you're saying just pick the Texans draft ... While I understand the rationale, speaking for myself, I really want to do the whole NFL draft.....Let's get this reorganized with teams filled up and get it going.

Exactly. Everyone gets to pick their own Texans draft. Just post what player you would chosse. I think people lose interest trying to pick an entire draft. This way we pick for our team and discuss each others reasoning for that pick. For instance, many here will choose Manziel. I won't. It will also get everyone used to the players that are in range of our picks. Not every player in the draft.
I'm down with that. It would be nice if there was a provision for trades...esp. w/many of us wanting to move down from 1-1. I know it might be a hassle, but how would you feel about running it? Also, if anyone wants to run the whole draft (who wants to pick up the torch from Wattafan?)......Let's get all teams/GM's accounted for before the first pick and have everyone ready. It still sounds pretty cool.
Better yet, why don't i just attempt to start it off. I really wanted to wait till everyone was aboard to pick, but if i were picking for the Texans, my #1 pick would be Khalil Mack. The lure of putting another flexible and dynamic defensive player next to Watt is irresistible. I'll choose my second and third round picks later this week if everything is a go.
I don't think anyone would have to run it. It's kind of an open thing. Members would probably have to put their picks of that week in their sigs so as to help everyone keep up as they go about their day.
