1)AB is a FAR better option. Has in no way Lin proven himself in any postseason.

    2) Lin's horrendous games offensively far exceed Beverley's. The difference is Bev actually does other things to contribute. When Lin's shots aren't falling he completely disappears literally.

You claim to not be a LOF but you've went through 2 LOF talking points in one post. Great job

It's interesting because at the beginning of the season Lin had good games with the starters. Then the second time Bev was out, Lin was terrible for most of the games he started. And now again, it is looking like Lin with the starting unit is not working.

We'll know better after a couple more games, but I agree, the Rockets have to at least consider the possibility of needing to start Canaan.

You do realize Canaan had more points, rebounds and assists than Lin, in less minutes.

Thanks for the invitation, heypartner! I don't know that I can do it, but would certainly enjoy being there.

I agree. Lin is best suited with the second unit. We don't need him in the first unit, him starting weakens our bench. I honestly think this will balance our lineup much much better.

Dwill went 1/9 2turnovers today... Reminds me of Lins game yesterday. I wonder are they going crazy with everyone writing in 4 threads about it. he getting $22 mill.

It is what it is at this point until bev comes back we just have to hope for a more solid game from him. Lins shooting is not an issue he hardly shoots that low percentage it's the jump in the air TOs are a problem.

One thing I will say about his turnovers are his decision making, he's not out there getting stripped/ ball taken from him. so it's room for improvement seems like it's all mental.

I was all for keeping brooks not just to be in front of anyone but u always need that solid vet PG incase of injury. Especially for a playoff team.

best case would be trade Lin bring brooks back this summer. $8mill to play with for maybe some solid vet one year players. I would keep asik in case of injury.

    HeyP,

I know I'm not part of your original crew, but if there's space, I'd be down to travel to Htown for a playoff game and meet up with the real fans.

    Lemme know.

    :)

i agree, that jumping in the air thing is something new he's doing, i don't remember him doing that in NY or last year with houston, its a stupid habit thats totally correctable....the thing is, he only averages 2.5 TO a game....so whats the big deal anyway about jumping in the air when overall, his turnovers are relatively low...just food for thought

A bad game for DWill is not a fair comparison for a bad game from Jeremy.

DWill is an all-star. He has been plagued with injuries.

However, his years in Utah and his first with Brooklyn put him light years ahead of Jeremy.

He's led teams in the playoffs, has plenty of triple doubles and has a skillset that most Rockets fans would drool for from a starting guard.

Just ridiculous how conclusions are made after ONE game. Lin may not be the right starter for the playoffs, but neither is an inexperience rookie.

You do realize that Canaan has been playing garbage time minutes against scrubs until last night? Einstein. LOL.

Its been almost two seasons not ONE game.... As a Rockets only fan I wish he was good... I wish he was the poing guard we expected... No, You know what.... I wish he was just a mediocre point guard that would not get in the way of Rockets winning by driving in, spinning and then send the ball off flying out bounds or handing It over to the other team...

Ok whatever. First off are you guys talking about Ab all time or in his most recent Rockets stint? Posting youtube clips from years ago makes me wonder.

As for Lin vs Bev I highly doubt Lin has had more crappy offensive performances. Yes he has made bone headed plays and turnovers. Bev gets a pass despite his offense though because of his scrappy d and because everyone hates Lin.

Lin is kinda like a Mike James type while Bev is similar to Charlie Ward. Its debateable who is better but I believe Lin does have potential because I also follow the Knicks and saw what he can do. Sometimes he makes you want to bash your tv but then a light switch goes on and heplays great.

wow cmon now man, i expect a lot more from you since you're from 2001. I thought you cared about the present and what Lin can contribute as of right now yet you give Williams an out by referencing his past success. The truth is, Williams has been mediocre for about 2 years now, injuries of course being part of the problem, but no excuses right?

To be fair Lin's assist to turnover ratio is probably pretty awful.

He needs to know his role, pick his spots, take care of the ball and have more confidence but he will never be Chris Paul.
