Thank you Old Man Rock. I just won 100$. I bet a friend of mine that another Lin shouldn't start thread will be posted in the next two games that Lin starts. GARM is so predictable!

Highly debatable. You can even check AB's career stats versus JLin's if you wanted.

Before AB was injured by Manu, he was the league's MIP. He was on his way....

And, when he came back to the Rockets healthy, under limited minutes, he still produced. It was nice having a guy that had limitless range to hit a shot when James was doubled. Speed-wise, AB was one of our best at getting into the lane and hitting the corners.

IMO, AB was very underrated for our team and we traded him under the hope that Pat was back for good.

In hindsight, it would be nice to have him back going into the playoffs. AB is a proven scorer with playoff experience.

He dismantled Portland and is the definition of a hard-nosed player. And, damn, was he loyal to Htown. He came back to us after we shipped him away.

Again, though, I like Jeremy. I just think he is given way too many passes for that whole "potential" word. I'd rather save that word for a guy like Jordan Hamilton who is a relatively unknown guy that seems to fit well with us.

When my friend told me we were getting him, I had to look him up. He seems like a Morey type of "undiscovered talent" that didn't get minutes in Denver.

Jeremy is not "potential" so much anymore. He has room to improve, but he is not going to be Steve Nash. That's not an insult, but more of a sense of realism.

Great post, he ran the point as well as we could have asked during the playoffs.

Right now, Lin couldn't get a starting spot on any NBA roster. At the current moment, it would be difficult for him to even be in the rotation on most NBA teams, especially good nba teams. The Rox current pg situation is just scary.

Coach Nick has a video explaining how Westbrook continually makes fundamental mistakes. Look it up on Youtube. It Shocked the hell out of me. He even stops the tape to show footage of the fundamental mistakes that
Westbrook makes every game. Westbrook is quality.

    ....

WB also more than makes up for it, but the type of mistakes Lin makes are JV mistakes. If you can't see them there is no point in explaining.

    Too early...

Last night was just Lin's 1st start in a while. Can't crucify him for that. Plus we can't get mad when he lays an egg like he did last night because the kid isn't a super star. I expect games like that from him. And if he's on the court there's nothing wrong with him being aggressive at times because he's pretty much useless when he's not.

Last night was probably just Canaan's 2nd game seeing significant minutes. We got to let that kid get baptized. I hope he can settle in and start consistently knocking down that 3. He's probably the only legit catch and shoot player on the team but I'm not sure he's ready to handle the defensive responsibilities as a starter.

GARM has exploded and everyone is out with there pitch forks wanting Lin's blood lol. I'm sure he will bounce back in the next few games (for our sake, i hope so). I hope for his sake he stays healthy for the playoffs and has a good series or 2. I'm sure that will go along way in stabalising his confidence in this league

Wish we had aaron Brooks, but we don't.

There's no good answer. Lin is not a starter, and neither is Canaan. Losing Beverly is an absolute killer.

We might want to consider signing someone.

    Hey anyone here head hurting?

I mean the feet be hitting the head so hard from that kneejerk reaction is just too much.

I do wish Jeremy gets shipped out.

Not because he is good/bad player.

He deserves better than this from so call fans, check than LOH are not fans so I stand corrected. They just hate. He does well, that's not good enough because he is getting paid too much. He has bad games, lynch him!

I wish him the best and if you real fans are seriously thinking it is better to start a rookie pg than that just speaks volumes.

God speed for PB to recover. Same or DH.

I don't recall you making the same post supporting Rafer Alston, Verbatim. I wonder why.

Canaan is a better player than Aaron Brooks. Canaan is also a better fit with the starters than Lin is right now. And with a little more experience he will be a superior player to Lin all around. Better defender. Better shooter. Better playmaker.

I found this on Reddit. I wish it was of better quality (and contained the star) but I love the sentiment. Once Canaan gets the starting spot you will have to pry it from his cold dead hands!
