There's a reason why Lin was the back-up. There's 15M reasons too why he's on his way out of the Rockets line-up next year. Can't expect Morey to bat 1.000 all the time. Let's just move on--signing Lin became a mistake when we signed Harden. We've given him all the chances and he's still inconsistent as hell. He'll do fine on a non-contending team where he has more room for error and learning from mistakes.
Why other teams work their gameplans out? They can also just let their players to adjust and react. Coaching comes first and then players go and execute the plan. Otherwise, all coaching units are just fans like us.
Jeremy lin doesn't have what it takes to be a starting pg in the NBA, the guy definitely has the talent but he is just mentally weak, his best option to stay in the nba is to come off the bench. I agree with the op, our best option at this point is Caanan.
Schaub was a center point of the Texans since he was QB. Lin on the other hand is like the 6th best player on this. I have no idea why does this forum spends so much time talking about him.
Lin isn't the reason why Rockets lost the game. Yes his boneheaded turnovers and missed shots were hard to watch but this lost is not solely on him. Mchale benched him in the middle of the 3rd quarter. The score got out of hand during that period- go back and watch the game for yourself.
I think this is blowing things out of proportion. He was a plus on defense and scored 10 pts on 9 shot attempts. That is better than 1 pt per shot. It is no different than going 5 for 10. Obviously if he had 22 pts, the game would have been won but I am not see anyone saying anything about TJones who went 1 of 4, had 2 pts and a -20 for the 18 minutes he played tonight. Should the team be shipping him out also because he didn't "show up" against the Clippers?
Dude, I was laughing my guts out at the Lin hater meltdown comments until getting to your reasonable post. Just stop it and let the haters have their meltdown. Don't spoil everybody's fun.
oh ya good post, now that i think about it, he sat in the middle of the 3rd when the deficit was like 4 pts, he came back and it was 12
I say start Canaan, and keep the bench intact with LIN. But from what Bev is sayin, he is going to be back very soon.
Better still. Send him to Russia to toughen his weakazz up. It worked for Bev and look where it got him. Bev may not get paid as much as Lin but at least he got the respect of clutchfans.
I believe Canaan should be starter. seems to flow better with Harden in the offense, and Lin seems to play better coming off the bench.
It's knee jerky, but it's a reasonable post, but this thread sure derailed fast. All I saw in this thread was, Lin sucks, no Lin doesn't suck. Nothing constructive (though I didn't read the full thread page by page).
